Peter Schiff money bomb is now official - It's time to make history again!

We are pleased to be working directly with Peter Schiff’s campaign consultants to arrange this event. We would like to thank all of those who helped lay the groundwork to make this happen: Chad Peace, and Andrew Grathwohl to name two.

Unfortunately, there was just a bit of confusion regarding the date of the MoneyBomb. Not a problem! We are all anxious to make this happen. We are confident that the confusion will end immediately.

This event will span a whole week starting with a Jerry Lewis style telethon to be broadcast on http://www.RevolutionBroadcasting.com on August 1st, with various high profiled people on air live to endorse Peter Schiff. Special programming will then continue all week long leading up to the MoneyBomb day on August 7th.

Send out your emails, call your friends, talk to your family etc... and get them to make their pledge now at http://www.schiffathon.com.

Our goal is to raise 1 million dollars in a single day for Peter to make a huge impact that the Main Stream Media cannot ignore. Let's make this a true day to remember! This would make this event the largest single day Senate fundraising record in history!

Trevor was mistaken and we spoke to Trevor today. We are also in contact with G-wohl from www.peterschiffmoneybomb.com and he is on board with us now! We will make this successful and we need everyone to get involved.

We reached out to Trevor and now the ball is in his court whether or not he decides to work with us and we welcome him to do so.

Josh, we have coordinated with the official campaign we are not part of the official campaign. we are www.retakecongress.com and are helping Peter raise funds to attempt to take back our country. Trevor should not have announced any date considering we were already in contact with him and he was aware we were working with the official campaign to set a date and make this a very special event. Why he did we have no idea. We have spoken to Trevor on several occasions and spoke again today to him. Now the ball is in his court as to whether he will help us or not.

Support what ever event you want so long as the money goes to Peter. We are attempting to make this a huge event for Peter and his campaign.

Fair enough. If you add on your site that you won't send out emails to people after the moneybomb then you've got my support. Many think they are simply pledging, but that hasn't been the case in the past.

If I send my friends and family to this site I don't want them to unknowingly be signed up for an email campaign.

1. A validated email address is a very simple and efficient way to generally identify a unique pledger. This makes sure they are real while at the same time generally ensuring that they are a unique person. Of course it isn't perfect.

2. Having the email addresses on file to remind those who pledged is also very important. We are confident they meant it when they pledged, so we help remind them on a regular basis leading up to the day of the bomb.

3. If people are interested in supporting this particular effort of RetakeCongress.com, they may be interested in other similar efforts. So we will let them know about those things. OF COURSE, any time that someone does NOT want to receive emails, their removal request will be honored quickly.

I think you are making good points, Josh. I am glad we have your interest, even if we don't fully have your support at this time.

I meant for Schiff to have a money counter on his site.
And two things about your pledge counter:

-It has the wrong date
-How can you possibly have 6,000 pledges when you just launched it?
