Newly elected President King has been in office for just a few months, and already, he is moving to increase the scope, power and control of the Fedgov.
You are jolted awake on an early September morning by the annoying "Emergency Alert Screech" blaring from the Sell-Sol solar powered smart phone on the dresser.
Half asleep, you pounce on to shut it off, only to read a "Presidential Message"...not believing what you are seeing, you click the TV on only to see the same thing, confirmed by every channel.
A devastating "terror" attack, that, to any rational person, already has suspicious government fingerprints on it, has decimated Houston, TX and the surrounding suburbs. Initial reports indicate that "home grown" terrorists carried out a combined bio/chemical attack that "authorities" estimate may have killed 300,000 people.
Now consider the massive surveillance/police/authority state that hangs over our head every day.
Now consider who authoritarians, like newly "elected" President Peter King, think are "the enemy".
Then, try to tell me my paranoia is not justified.
