No problem dkim68, vitriol can be funny.
So, we start losing and suddenly kicking people out becomes more popular? Not for me.
How does one define a "hater?" Who decides? The moderators?
I'm all for more freaking organization, it's entirely obvious that we need it, but we need an intelligent version of it. I've written e-mails about my hope for some organization to arise from the grassroots. If there's some moronic Huckabee supporter running amok in the forums, who cares? We'll figure it out! Hell, I could be on the Huckabee boards if I wanted to BS them a bit. I read the boards of the opposition sometimes because I want to be educated.
If there are idiots here, and I'm sure there are, remove the posts by a democratic process--let the members report them. I don't want to miss a revolutionary idea that could get Paul in. I want to know the enemy. I've always said, in regards to political correctness and censorship, that it makes the opposition more sneaky. I've come of age in a male profession with political correctness and fully believe that if someone could just say to me "you suck because you're female" that I'd be far more prepared and able to deal with it. With censorship and the PC sentiment, I don't really get to hear what people think and am less equipped to deal with it.
Am I hypocritical on this sometimes, sure. I want to shut people up who disagree with me. I don't want to hear that I'm wrong, I don't want to hear criticism. I don't want to hear that there are people who don't like me for reasons I have no control over, like gender, racial background or whatever. But am I ultimately better off for knowing? I believe so
Okay, end rant. I'm upset about NH and have no filter between brain and mouth right now. I'm not very motivated to be civil.
