****PENNSYLVANIA DELEGATE LIST - YOU MUST VOTE FOR RON'S DELEGATES DIRECTLY**

Whats the procedure ? You mean those delegate candidates getting the most votes will be chosen as national delegates directly ?(If yes, then we should keep an eye out for vote inconsistencies)
Are they bound proportionally, by district winner or state winner ?

It's a direct election of unbound delegtes. 3 or 4 per CD.

There's a definite possibility that we're going to win delegates in PA, but I haven't the slightest idea who they might be.

It would be good to have the analysis. The closest thing to analysis here is similar to "no, we should keep our candidates for delegates secret", which is just wrong.

We're in a situation where we're likely to lose every state tomorrow. If we focus our efforts on the right places, we could win something. But I'm not hearing anything.

In PA, I would guess that maybe 15,16,17,4,11,10 we might have a shot. We did win a few delegates in 08. In NY, district 21 - a huge district, mostly mountains, Canadian border. (The old 23). And whatever district Ithaca is in.

i agree that there is not much use of keeping the delegates secret in PA, since ppl need to know who to vote for.
i wonder how the campaign can get to all the supporters in PA with the delegate candidate names ?
caucus is easier in that matter.
anyway, lets see how it goes tomorrow.

The campaign can't get to all the supporters in PA with the delegate names.

There are 18 separate elections in PA. And as many as 4 delegates will be chosen. As many as 50-70 Ron Paul delegates could be elected tomorrow. That's 50-70 separate candidates, separate elections, separate people that we want to get votes for.

I haven't heard word one here about these specific people. I'd like to do something, someone mentioned facebook. Is there any informed opinion on the ground about why one candidate should get our support?

I can tell you here in D-18, we are working with the Evan Feinberg (Congressman Candidate) people with passing out his literature at the polls and his people are passing out our delegate list at the polls. So we do have a team effort going on. I think Sam Rohrer people are helping us also.

The NEW redistricting when announced via the newspapers in my county (for example) was a little 2'x3' advert in the classifieds with tiny print.

Whenever I see people on my local canvassing lists at stores, markets, sport events .. I always bring up to them "do you know who the Liberty delegates are" and "do you know what district your in" most say NO to both questions.. with a few people still thinking we live in CD17. CD17 isn't even Lebanon County anymore .. we were split into CD6 and CD15.

The new redistricting is going to be a HUGE problem as I see it getting our delegates elected. People don't know what district they live in NOW, muchless who the delegates are for each district. My local GOP only has their endorsed delegates .. some people might just go to the GOP and ask. NOT GOOD.

I already took care of the highway advertising painting my barn. Today I'm going to Blog, Twitter, Facebook, whateva for CD6 delegates, tonight with help from 3 of my Poll workers we'll canvass. Canvassing is going to be hard and frustrating because of the nasty weather - people won't want to hold their doors open for long - if at all. I'll think of something.

Seriously though, most voters are not aware of the redistricting.

Ya, this in Lebanon County too.

I'm not sure how effective a facebook ad would be this late in the game, and I'm not even sure how to go about doing that especially in the larger districts. In our district we distributed a few thousand door hangers and we're going to be handing out our information at every poll that we can. I'm not sure how many polls that will be, I know that we recruited a decent number of people at the freedom rally at Independence Hall yesterday.

they seem tailorable to people who go to liberty or progressive sites (I'd hit BOTH), parocks is really good at that, just our core demographics this time, the kind of people who Ron Paul supporters enough to TRACK him or not, should want to vote for the right people if only they knew who they were. I'd just say U must vote directly for Ron Paul delegates 4 him to win! Click for List! on a picture of him (or spell it out if there is enough space. It needs to go in NOW to be available tonight and tomorrow though.

I dont' know the townships we should be targeting etc.

What would be nice would be to have ZIP CODES for the various CDs in PA.

Or, anything that we could use to target Facebook wise.

A zip code - what district. Names of towns and their CD.

That way we can just hit a town. Everybody in that town. Just saying "These are the good delegates."

Vote for 1, 2, 3, 4 for Delegate.

And don't mention Ron Paul.

A couple weeks ago, maybe a month, there was discussion about strategies. Analyzing PA. Working hard to try to help a certain delegate candidate win, because it's either a strong candidate or a strong district or a good ballot placement.

I haven't seen anything like that here. Maybe somewhere else.

If someone did that research, these facebook ads could be useful for that.

In 2008, we were strong from Allentown, Reading, Lebanon, Harrisburg, York, Lancaster.

Our districts are really gerrymandered. Zips won't help. Some zips are in more than one district.

The campaign covered this possibility in my area by putting all possible CD's on the delegate cards.

My county and SE PA in general is a RP stronghold. I think we will do rather well and you don't need to hide the fact that you support RP around here to get votes.

shem, does your sig picture not show up on purpose to make people curious and click it so it shows up as a porcupine fest?

Because it worked for me....

parocks, I think we need SOME you click on a picture of Ron to get, aimed at OUR demographics. I literally could not find out who to vote for wanting to vote for Ron when there were directly elected central committee people for L.A. There is such a thing as too much secrecy. These are CANDIDATES. We have to market them. I'd attach the entire list, broken by CD to the face book and say 'take this with you' then if they find the name of their CD is different (or don't know it) they can check it at the voting booth.

I don't follow your post. Who are you working with over there? D-18 is south of Pittsburgh.

I mean your general idea (working with people). In my area the Frank Pinto, Sam Rohrer and Mauree Gingrich people are all passing along each others information via poll workers, Mike Folmer people too. It's a team effort that worked during the MidTerms. They all shown support for our RP meetups, C4L and DownSize DC in the past .. soo that's what I mean. Sorry for the confusion.

Facebook ads.

Anyway, here's the facts. Romney is going to win most delegates. There hasn't been a pol%l since Santorum dropped out. Perhaps we're getting all of Santorum's support. I have no idea. But my guess is that our delegates aren't famous local politicians that people are used to voting for. Our people are less well known. And, yes, we did pretty well in 2008, with 16%, and we did get some delegates.

But I'm trying to be realistic here. I'm not in PA right now, but which delegates have a reasonable chance of winning?

I'd like to buy Facebook ads to hype a particular delegate.

Vote Russ Diamond for Delegate Tuesday.
Also, b, c, d.

Whatever the case may be. Whoever has a chance to win, I would like to hype that person. Because that's what PA is looking at tomorrow.

Off the top of my head, 2/3ds of the races we won't win, and 1/3 the races we have a chance.

Can anybody, anywhere make any reasonable argument in favor of any particular delegate?

Because a reasonable person, at this point, would basically just say "skip the Northeast", or "skip the elections and focus entirely on the Conventions" or something like that.

Who are our strongest delegates, the most likely to win, and why? Anybody have any clue about that?
