I don't like the FED creating more money for anybody. But i'd rather them create it and give it to the people than create and buy bad debt with it.
 
They are just trying to buy votes from people who are pissed about the bailout.

Hell as long as our grandkids are paying for it and not us, let the good times roll, right?

I keep telling you folks this, but you don't listen.

There are a good percentage of congress members who CAN NOT LOSE unless they kill someone- they are about as "elected" as Saddam Hussein was.

News flash, folks, Nancy Pelosi ain't going to lose, not to Cindy Sheehan or any Republican (assuming they even bother to run against her). If she gets less than 70% of the vote, I'll probably fall out of my chair.

Gerrymandering has ensured that more than half of the people in the House have ZERO chance of losing their "elections"- incumbents win well over 90% of the races, and in districts like Pelosi's, the incumbents win 100% of the time.
