Pelosi caught in a double standard and gets PISSED

are you joking?
Then why was she voted in for the sole reason to "stop the war" when she knew about waterboarding all along?
she is a sick piece of trash that should not only be raked over hot coals, but should be thrown in to one of the FEMA camps!

It should have been easy to make her look stupid but he wasn't completely successful, and that is why I thought the interview was annoying. I completely agree with your assessment of Pelosi except that I don't think that my political enemies should be thrown in FEMA camps.

Let's see who is the slaver driver here...
You wish to define how a life should be and you don't believe people own themselves.

The whip's in your hand.

No, I do believe that people own themselves, and I don't believe that their ownership can ever be taken away. Do you actually believe people should be allowed to sell themselves into slavery?

I'd love for you to go back to 19th century agrarian Jefferson society and tell the slaves in the southern states that if you get paid to work you are still a slave.

The wage slaves of the north were not treated much better than the true slaves of the south. Even though they were paid, often times all of that money and then some was spent at the 'company store.' People worked long hours with no protection if they were injured, and got further and further into debt to their bosses, so much so that they couldn't actually quit their job. There isn't a big difference between that kind of system and actual slavery, to me.

And this system still persists (to a lesser degree) even today. People work at WalMart with no health insurance, buy things on credit from WalMart, getting deeply into debt. They end up working so they can give money to WalMart and their credit card company. And you want to see how many of them will continue working there for $4 an hour? I'm sure many still would, but it would be a national disgrace.

Yeah, Jan and Pelosi were both being hard headed in the interview, pretending not to understand each other's arguments.

I would not be willing to get rid of the minimum wage until we eliminate corporate welfare programs first. If you eliminate the minimum wage while continuing to give Monsanto billions in subsidies you just end up nationalizing slavery.

I work at walmart, have health insurance, and am 100% debt free, I even own my own home. I managed all that because I never lived beyond my means, which it seems everyone else is dead set upon doing.
