I certainly hope and pray that the 14th district has a plan for a good replacement lined up.
Congressman Paul has shocked and angered alot of people in the GOP with his vote to support democrats in their efforts to wage a "slow bleed" attack against our Commander In Chief in a time of war. The resolution, if it passes is designed to be a very slow process of defeat and will endanger our troops even more than just pulling out now.
In the war on terror, defeat is NOT an option!

I recently was introduced to Mr. Peden and his wife at a meeting in Washington at the White House. He has a heart of compassion and strong desire to help others through public service work. He could represent the area well.

I've known Chris for a number of years and in my opinion he would be the ideal Republican candidate for the possible opening in the 14th district. He's a successful businessman, good family man, consistant in conservative values and has demonstrated a results oriented approach on the Friendswood City Council.

Chris Peden is interested in doing what's best for his constituents. His voice and consistent leadership extends well beyond the City of Friendswood boundries. He is an excellent choice to fill the District 14 seat when it is vacated by Congressman Ron Paul.

Chris Peden is an individual who truly defines what a conservative politician is. He has demonstrated that he will stand solid for the best interest of his constituents regardless if it fails to fall rank and file with the rest of the politicians. Remember it was the tax payers of Friendswood who got a got a refund.
Chris stands true to his word and always reflects a true conservative. He does not speak to appease in order to get votes. This country needs more politicians like Chris.

Ron Paul is a Libertarian and all Republicans need to be clear about what this really means. He does not support the war on terror or other things we do.
Chris Peden is a Republican. He supports the war on terror AND he supports the moral platform of the Republican Party as well.
There's more to a Republican then just cutting taxes, but Chris Peden has also served the Friendswood Taxpayers well in this arena: He has voted to cut our city taxes and supported us receiving a 2005 Tax Rebate.
Chris Peden is a Republican both fiscally and morally. He would have my vote if he runs for Paul's position.

I've know Chris for nearly 20 years, and I would whole-heartedly support him for a leadership position in this country. I believe he is the type of individual that the founding fathers would endorse also. Conserative, Christian, pro-America and enough resolve to do what is right no matter what the "public opinion" is. He has got my vote!
