Paulites crash Rudy Rally yesterday

Ok I am rather new to politics as I am 28 years old, so please forgive my ignorance... does this normally happen?

It shouldn't. And if it continues, it will continue to damage Ron Paul's campaign, especially if he doesn't disavow the thugs doing it.

Like the old saying goes, "Lie down with dogs, get up with fleas." And Paul's conspicuous silence when it comes to some of the more outrageous actions of his more out-there supporters makes me wonder if he isn't slipping a little Sergeant's Skip-Flea into his bathwater on the quiet.

This kind of thing is turning people I know from Georgia off from Paul's campaign. Decorum needs to be maintained by Paul supporters or we risk losing the election bigtime.

+1

It won't change my support for Ron Paul because my reasons for supporting him are firmly rooted in my own personal beliefs.

Justify it however you like, doesn't it seem a bit obtuse to continue to engage in activity that has the chance of hurting the campaign of someone you passionately support?

As I've said before, I completely understand and experience the same frustration at the media completely ignoring all the accomplishments of this campaign, instead focusing on a few overly outspoken supporters. While I think it says a great deal about the level of excitement that some supporters would engage in such bombastic harassment, I still wish they would think a little before they act. We all want the same thing, Ron Paul in the White House. Of all the "controversial" actions, this particular activity is far and above the worst way to see that happen.

In a public venue, cheering and showing support certainly deserves encouragement. Visiting another campaigns speeches in order to support your candidate just shows unmitigated rudeness.

So, please, if you know of people who are doing these kinds of things, talk some sense into them for the sake of all of us!

Really? They must be devoid of any logic then. Supporters behavior has nothing to do with the actual candidate and what he stands for. If they truly understand what position our nation is in today, they would not think twice about Paul's supporters and instead cheer on his message.

The local news in GA covered it up as seen here:

It is a bit over the top and a bit humerous... however, it can certainly send the wrong message about Ron Paul supporters. I'm not sure what to think about it except that I hope people don't get the wrong message.

I am sure that we all share their frustration with the media.

Maybe I'm standing too firm on this but may I point out that regardless of whether or not voters are "devoid" of logic, it is those same voters this campaign needs to reach. I'm not saying pander to them and do as they say do, I'm simply saying show a little respect for others. Isn't that what we are claiming we'd like as well? How can you expect to receive respect if you don't first show respect?

Please try to understand this. I'm not telling anyone what to do or what not to do. But, one thing we should ALL be familiar with is the term "blowback" and certainly this sort of activity (which does absolutely NOTHING to recruit new supporters) carries a great deal of blowback regardless of whether or not someone says you have or don't have the right to do it.

Just consider it, please. There are so many people out here working so hard to move things forward for this campaign. Not everyone agrees with all the different things being done, but that is ok. Each of us should do what we believe is within our ability in order to achieve our stated goal. However, you would be wise to heed the advice of fellow supporters who, for all purposes, share your goals.

I firmly believe in Persuasion over Force so please consider this my earnest attempt to PERSUADE!

Ron Paul really should use this opportunity to create favorable press, even though it is a non-issue for most.

I agree -

There's alot of pent up frustration with Bush-Clinton-Clinton-Bush-Bush -
and energetic enthusiasm and passion for your candidate should be encouraged and welcomed.

Here's the bottom line. A bunch of Ron Paul supporters created bad feelings from other Republicans, who will not vote for him should he become the nominee. These people will now stay home.

And it didn't even get one second of news coverage. Job well done, folks.

This childish stuff has to end. If you want to destroy a candidate, please support Rudy McRomsonabee. Then your foolishness will be hurting someone who deserves it.

Imagine just a sea of Ron Paul supporters staring at you saying nothing. That's what should be done. And simply talk to people who wish to listen.

I think this yelling at other candidates is counter-productive, and as the old lady explained, mildly rude.

Remember people don't really care about messages, so don't give them bullshit reasons to not listen to you.

Here's the bottom line.

You deserve everything thrown your way if you are still naive enough to be listening to Rudy's' Grand Illusion' campaign.

As Publius ( Madison ) says in the Federalist Papers, denying factions their voice only make matters worse -
the "cure" of silencing them becomes worse than the disease.

Great to see so many Paul supporters turning out when another candidate visits. Its hard to guage here in the UK, but does this happen to all of the MSM candidates?

I think they did a fine job. As long as no one was actually being 'rude' (I do not think showing up at other Republican candidate's rallies, when most republicans don't even know who Ron Paul is, is rude).

I know Paulites should not raid other candidates rallies, was just poking fun at how some people look at the wrong things when voting. I mean, do they not wonder WHY Ron Paul has so many passionate supporters?
