Paul vs others chart

That chart says Obama supports internet neutrality! Are his internet supporters well aware of this? Perhaps we should make them aware if he indeed is?

I was thinking it would be a good ad for TV to have Ron Paul, Romney, Huckster and Mccain in a row and then list the major issues on the side - go thru the checking process of each issue during the ad.

Get a source and someone remake it into a very nice graphic that can be handed out while canvassing.

The best thing about this chart is that, due to Ron Paul having ALL check marks, readers will undoubtably find at LEAST several issues that with coincide with those of Ron Paul.

This is excellent, excellent canvassing material. Bravissimo!

Do you guys see any check marks or question marks that need to be corrected?

Any thoughts on the blank squares meaning "Disagree"?

Fixed some spelling errors (ilegal, Reserce, commondity) and added minor edits:

Still need help with fine-tuning and double-checking the issues and every single square to make this perfect. The blanks seem misleading when it implies "Disagree" because for some issues, it's not clear either way.

Can't seem to download the file...I would love to get this out to my meetup groups!

Also, 4th item, you may want to continue doing all caps for NOT.

Also, you might want to move the "YOU" column out from the "Democrats" header...

Can you e-mail me a copy of this? I will send you a PM with my e-mail address.

Very good idea!

Very good idea. I suggest starting with the "Supports..." rows first. Also, have a graphic designer give it a nice makeup. Finally, you may want to have someone with the proper credentials scrutinize the issues and their wording for maximum effectiveness.

Let's get a high-quality, printable version of this together. Anyone working on it?

As I said before, it would be nice if we could have another page of equal size elaborating on each issue so that it could be printed front and back. Things like "Military Commissions Act", "failed War on Drugs", "industrial hemp", "National ID Cards", etc could probably use some further explaining to the average person.

Also you may want to remove the links to ron paul's web site's for the ones you hand out when going door to door. It gives the initial impression that you are neutral and then more accepted. You can always write the address in for the website as you are then talking to them. Just say "Oh let me see that again please. I have one more piece of information that can help you in your decision this year. Let me write it down for you." Then just write it as you talk with them and hand the sheet back to them.

I would really only write the address on the ones that showed an interest in him otherwise at that point it could look deceiving to anyone else.

Some of the questions are pretty bad.. "Opposes using public funds to benefit certain people" - come on.

Interesting chart (the original post). I noticed also that the 2nd and 3rd closest candidates are Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich. Of course, all three are the ones who are being marginalized by the media at large.

Does RP oppose the death penalty? I know in an interview from '88 he said he didn't mind it.

That is lame.

Opposes.

"Changed opinion to anti-death penalty due to many mistakes."
