Don't think he'll win but I wouldn't be surprised if he did better than expected in the January primary. I think his less government and state's rights views are becoming very popular here. I mentioned Ron Paul to one of my clients about two weeks ago and today he was all fired up and said he put signs all over his neighborhood.

It's just my opinion but I think his vision is popular here.

how can you say he will not win? wtf
Sorry, he can win. I'm just thinking he may have to take the presidency on a 3rd party ticket. I hope I'm wrong and he gets to run as a republican. Just not sure if we can overthrow the neocons in the primaries and especially here in SC. Still, we have a long way to go before it's decided. Sorry to seem so pessimistic to you, I really like our chances to get RP elected in the end.

A blimp over Charleston would be nice. South Carolina is where candidates who win either Iowa or New Hampshire usually stumble.

South Carolina

My parents who are 70 and typically wouldn't vote for Paul are sick and tired of the current direction and will be voting for Paul. The interesting part of this for me is they mentioned Ron Paul to me before I had the chance to tell them about him. They are very much a part of the religious right.

My father has been a Republican all his life. He's a retired Navy Captain. In My lifetime he voted for Ford, Reagan, Bush, Dole, Bush. He's now voting for Ron Paul.
