Paul scheduled for Wolf Blitzer late edition

From http: //www.spp.gov/myths_vs_facts.asp

Myth: The SPP is a movement to merge the United States, Mexico, and Canada into a North American Union and establish a common currency.

Fact: The cooperative efforts under the SPP, which can be found in detail at www.spp.gov, seek to make the United States, Canada and Mexico open to legitimate trade and closed to terrorism and crime. It does not change our courts or legislative processes and respects the sovereignty of the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The SPP in no way, shape or form considers the creation of a European Union-like structure or a common currency. The SPP does not attempt to modify our sovereignty or currency or change the American system of government designed by our Founding Fathers.

that is exactly what I would put on my anti american website as well...

Just think about all the bills and legislation that comes out in favor of one thing but completely was for the agenda of something else. The government has been lying for a long time and I wouldn't put it past them to put something like this on a website that is an obvious front for what is really going on.

Amazing interview! Some good questions and even better answers.

Looks like Paul has some cold soars or chapped lips though.

Missed the very beginning so I'm waiting for the youtube.
Ever been to New Hampshire this time of year? EVERYONE has chapped lips when the weather turns cold... :)

Ooo, he nailed that second response to McCain. Good stuff. I'd really love to hear him say something like,

"Just think logically about it -- what would be more likely to motivate a person to attack us: The fact that we're rich and free, or the fact that one of our bombs has killed a close relative or friend of theirs, and they're angry over the continual occupation of their country? The overwhelming majority of the people we fight in Iraq would not be fighting us if we had not invaded their country, so the idea that, 'We fight them over there so we won't have to fight them here' is disingenuous. The overwhelming majority of these people do not have the means nor the desire to hop on a plane and fly here. Rather, they are fighting for control of their own country. We are the reason for the violence. This is proven, because we have seen that when we cede control of certain areas back to the Iraqis, the violence ends. I say, let's cede the whole country back, and end this immoral occupation of a sovereign country."

We need to harp on this idea that they attack us because of our freedoms, because it's ridiculous, and anyone who thinks for a couple minutes honestly about what motivates people will see that it's hogwash.

Looking forward to part 2 ...

they really need to come up with a new way to introduce ron paul... "despite having single digits in the polls, ron paul is a big hit....."

someone should make a compilation of all the times that's been used. it has got to be hundreds of times

I scratch my head about that one all of the time. I just don't get it. Makes me suspicious that he is just a media pawn.

When I was undecided and before I was a die hard Ron Paul Fanatic, I was leaning to tancredo or huck because I was totally uninformed and not involved in the political process. Listening to Beck he was favorable to huck and even at one time to rudy (although I was never for rudy).

That was a really good interview. One of the best he's had in awhile. He was clear, articulate, and got his points across because he was given a bit longer to respond to each question.

It's amazing how much of a difference 10 minutes makes vs. 2-5 minutes in a Ron Paul interview.

Man what a great plug for the TeaParty!

I loved how he said "We MAY be looking at as much as 14 or 15 million this quarter... which we are simply amazed about." Ron is so smart keeping expectations low while projecting that this is a hopeful estimate. We have got to blow everyone away on the 16th, if we get Ron to $20 million this quarter it is going to shake the foundations of our corrupt political system.
