Yesterday, Ron Paul's Q4 donations passed Obama's Q3 primary donations (FEC reports: 18,913,250). I don't have a new donor count, but I suspect Paul has more Q4 donors than Obama (who has about 121,000).

If he gets to 19,784,618 before midnight, he will also pass up Hillary's Q3 FEC primary numbers.

Considering that most other candidates consistantly get less money each quarter, we might out raise them for Q4. Of course that's not always true. Obama got 30 some million in the second quarter, which I believe was more than the first...

Headquarters needs to add in offline soon

and bump us a few hundred grand for a realistic shot, I know there are plenty sitting there, throw them in now.

We've still got to get close to 1 million dollars today. Not impossible, but still going to be difficult.

We already know Ron Paul will have raised more money than any Republican candidate.

But what if he raises more money than ANY candidate????

Let's do it people!

From this article today by The Wall Street Journal, can be found another goal worth pursuing:

To be sure, other Republican candidates hadn't disclosed their fourth-quarter fund-raising figures as of yesterday. But to date, only former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney has issued a better three-month report, and just once: $20.8 million in the first quarter, not counting loans the former venture capitalist made to his campaign.

Hmmm.... beat Romney's best quarter. Can it be done?

.

Wow, Romney is running Debt, well I'm sure he'll find someway in the "FOR RICH" Tax Loopholes, to write it all off against his $300 Million in WEALTH.

Running Debt in your camapign... does that also qualify one as a good President, since they have racked up $5 TRILLION in debt in the past 7 years?

I wonder why Romney is not using that as his campaign slogan?

Maybe he'll team up with Michael Bloomberg and just buy the Presidency?

FYI all donations get reset on the 1st....it's yearly.

I don't think that's true. My understanding is you can only donate up to $2,300 to a campaign during the primaries. If your candidate wins the primaries you may donate an additional $2,300 during the general election.

Confirmed in other threads. It's PER ELECTION, not PER YEAR.
