Paul over Orlando! - Skyspot Advertizing.

the $1500 is a last minute $1500 that could not have gotten 10 or 15 more people
to the orlando poll even though it would have been fun to smuck santorum again!!!

I don't think the return on investment is going to be worth it for this project that costs $1500.

It is just that the timing was bad, after the event, during a storm? at night? I imagine not many people want to look up or are even outside when it rains.

I honestly think 1500 could've been better spent doing other things but its over, any reports of how the whole thing went?

$3000

not $1500

$1500 a day.

2 days.

In the right hands, 10 seconds of footage can be worth $3000.

I'm in general agreement, but any final assessment would require looking at all the footage.

Wasn't the poll over an hour ago?

Ahh well I'll shut up.

The idea at this point is/was to get footage.

So, whether it is/was early, or late, really isn't the issue.

Maybe Pasta, who has the right skills and the right equipment, got a money shot, so rich, worth thousands.

I'm not arguing this ever should've happened. But we might've scratched out value.

I haven't looked, but I've seen no evidence yet that "win money by taking video of Ron Paul" was any sort of craze that's sweeping the Orlando area.

But I'll look.

$3000 is much much less than $400K or $600K.

I got about 15-20 minutes of usable video, I'm pretty sure I got all the different messages. The event was over which is a good thing. If it wasn't everyone would've been in the convention center! I-drive was backed up from sand lake to the 528, all the p5 people were out doing the I-drive "walk, eat some overpriced food, drink a $6 beer and take my picture by the upside down building" thing. Also he flew it over universal while I-drive was dumping rain for about 10 minutes. If I had to guess I'd say at least 100k people had a chance to see it. You can't miss the thing.

I think it was cool, personally. The guy flying the plane was definitely a supporter, it was fun, lots of people saw it, I'd call that a success for 48hrs of planning.

Well I didn't actually plan anything or really investigate it, but I'd imagine the point wasn't so much to advertise for an event as to spread the message. Either way it was fun so I enjoyed it, personally. It was a success because the pilot landed and I got the video I was told to get lol.

ZZ -- stop it with the backseat driver debbie downer.
the footage sounds golden. trust me. have i been
totally wrong?we had a fourway tie in orlando for 2nd
and now we've slipped to 4th up on mackinac becuz
of "insider" media talking head 'debbie downers" like you!

i cut a couple random shots together for proof that it happened lol. will be available here in about 20-30 minutes. i loads more, and the original uncompressed video, if anyone needs it for another video.

Pretty cool! I think some of this could definitely go into future grassroots videos.

You are leaving because some people criticized an ill-conceived project of yours? If that's all it takes, then it probably causes many people to question how dedicated a supporter you really are.

He'll probably be back. He's "quit" several times before.

Good job folks for the ones who helped in this last minute notice in supporting Ron Paul.
The plane's lights was better at night to fly, more people see it at night.

For the nay-sayers all I got to say is.... "nothing nice to say"

Ron Paul supporters should always stick together, the neo-cons like nothing more then to see us fight.

You know what? I am FOR people spending their time & treasure on whatever "crazy scheme" they choose to do so, and against ANYONEZZ telling them not to do so.

Tangent - whatever "crazy scheme" you cook up next, let me know, I'm in for $50 againZZt those who would try to stifle free speech and creativity. I'm sick of it.

PM me whatever chip-in is in the works, be it your own, or another's, and I'm in. This is the grassroots. Let the campaign handle "tried & true" methods and let us handle unconventional.

Not all unconventional is good. But yes, the grassroots should handle unconventional and the campaign conventional. I have not said about this project "this is what the campaign already does".

Very cool! Love that 'Ramen Noodles for Ron Paul == why do people donate their food money to Ron Paul? Google Ron Paul and u will too!

And "Do you love America? Vote Ron Paul!"

Excellent sentiments....
