Paul moves from #12 to #11 on MSNBC.

This is not MSNBC, it's the National Journal, and they have an agenda. They're the ones whose last comments said "Just stop e-mailing us", IIRC.

Realistically, I think Ron should be ranked 6th out of the candidates they presented there.

From the Romney bit:

The GOP base seems to be looking for an anti-Bush.

*cough*

WTF???

Although, they may be doing a slight service by keeping RP in underdog status, but that doesn't help with the whole "electability" thing.

Once the Q2 FEC filings come out they'll be singing a different tune

"The diminished status of the straw poll gets rid of a chance for Paul to prove that his Internet support could be harnessed on the ground. "

WTF?

I liked the quit emailing us please better actually haha

"The diminished status of the straw poll gets rid of a chance for Paul to prove that his Internet support could be harnessed on the ground. "

The Utah GOP poll seems to suggest that his support is real and not just based online.

Be kind:)

Do NOT bother contacting MSNBC for posting National Journal's rankings, please. Beyond that, National Journal is very well respected, authoritative even. I think what they report on Dr. Paul's standing *is* the conventional wisdom here. They report that we're moving up. More debates, more quarterly filing reports, more reporting on number of individuals contributing (obviously EVERY SINGLE READER ON THIS FORUM), etc., is going to change that. Honestly, at this point, only a small percentage of American know who Dr. Paul is yet. We're changing that! It's amazing to me how many people who had known of him for such a short time are willing to do so much to help him restore the republic (DJ comes to mind;) ). It'll be fun to watch Dr. Paul move on up!

Can you talk about bad reporting 101? The man has had 1300 comments on CNN in 48 hours. Thompson has less supports than that overall. Brownback is toast and is totally irrelevant. 7 of these guys are irrelevant to the current political scene as president and 2 of the 7 aren't even running yet.
