Paul left out of stimulus commentary (CNN)

CNN is owned by Time Warner. The CEO for Time Warner is Richard D. Parsons. Parsons is a black man.

It is not realistic to think that CNN would have any liking for Ron Paul since Dr. Paul's platform would eliminate preferential treatment for Parsons' relatives (and in the process eliminate reverse discrimination against white people).

Oh fark off. We don't need that kind of bigotry around here.

Its not just CNN, there are no news sources left that will even mention Paul's name. CNN, MSNBC, Fox, and any other stragglers have completely eliminated Paul's name from any report, poll, or interview. It's like he doesn't even exist.

Obviously, it is frustrating. OK its infuriating, but I'm well beyond that point now. There is no question in my mind anymore, Paul is intentionally be excluded because he rocks the corporation/government marriage. I dont even get mad...I just laugh and change the channel to see what Britney's doing or study for Nutrition.

I haven't lost all hope, I have just lost hope in a significant group of people "waking up" anytime soon. With absolutely no coverage the only thing I think we can hope for is a large group of people starting to get together and run for office.

We should get a bump from the CNN debate tomorrow night. And won't the FEC announce fourth quarter fund-raising results Jan. 31? With McCain, Huckabee, and Giuliani broke, we should get some good publicity.

Please, take Churchill2004s advice and keep the racism-fueled comments to yourself. You do nothing to help Dr. Paul by using that ill-conceived logic and you give a bad example of the grassroots campaign to outsiders looking in.

It's not hard to see the real reasons why Dr. Paul is not given the attention he deserves and a black CEO is most definetly not one of them. Ignorance its not a good quality in a vocal campaign supporter: it obviously does a lot to turn off voters. So, again, please either keep the race comments to yourself.

I really have to take a stand against this. What a ridiculous and uncalled for accusation. CNN has been by far the most fair network towards us. FOX repeatedly trashes Paul and MSNBC has a virtual blackout of Ron Paul's name. Maybe if Ron won a Primary, he would be mentioned as a "serious candidate" on CNN.

Thus far, I'm looking at ...

McCain (3)
Romney (3)
Huckabee (1)
Paul (0)

Just because you don't like his words, does not mean he is not entitled to use them; ill conceived or not.

You are each entitled to your opinions, however you are not allowed to dictate how he expresses his.

His words are his, he will be judge for them. For you to suppress or try to stifle his words is violence, against him and his statement was not violent.

Sir;

There is nothing racist about my comment. I merely stated truthful facts.

Dr. Paul's platform would, for a fact, tend to eliminate preferential treatment for black persons and end reverse discrimination against whites. No sane black person could like Dr. Paul's platform. Sorry if you are offended by that.

All for me the same, the only difference is that the CNN team seems to be more likable than any other team and they might like RP but they are told to shut up.
So our fight is not with the CNN team but it is with the corporation which claims to be "THE MOST TRUSTED NAME IN NEWS" which proven to be a false statement!

You're right. CNN has, for a fact, been more fair towards Ron Paul. Still yet they have not been as fair as they should have been.

Time-Warner's stock ain't been doin' too good.

I do not why people are bringing the racial issue right now. Is it wrong to say this is black or this is white? What is wrong with that? We should not be so sensitive about it!
If really the owner of CNN is a black man then this puts a doubt that this might be why CNN keeps playing with the race card. Why not?
Blacks are not angels nor whites are! And that is what equal means!
The media turned this election into a fight between race and gender and CNN is carrying part of this responsibility.

I don't find what you said to be offensive, but Paul's platform would eliminate a lot of preferential treatment for a lot of people, including whites.

I'd suggest that Parsons has membership in a much more exclusive club that would drive his decisions. He can afford to subsidize his relatives, himself. I'd expect his position among the media elite to be far more influential.

And plenty of sane black people understand that big government isn't in their best interest. They've seen big negative results from that first hand.

If you had a clue you would know that affirmative action benefits white women more than ANYBODY...and most of those white women are married to white men. SO PLEASE QUIT IT! If all you can see is someone's motivations based on their race, then let me ask you...what is it that the white people are doing to non-white people everyday to maintain the hierarchical status-quo? Nothing right? All the white people are innocent and pure and never do a THING to those BIG BAD BLACK PEOPLE--right? Those Black people created this whole system where they are inferior and white people are superior, right? Now, what sense does that make? NONE!

You are not helping Ron Paul. You have a right to your idiocy, but you are not helping our candidate. Not all hispanics are for amnesty, not all Black people are for affirmative action---he is a republican, did you read that?

One black person at the trough with 99 white poeple---and it is wrong for the brother to get a swig. Go look in the mirror---go pull yourself up by your bootstraps and stop being jealous that there actually some rich Black people in the world. Nobody is stopping you from getting ahead but you!

I don't watch FOX anymore after 20 years of being sheeped so i cant say who they want in the big house but i do watch CNN now and i can honestly say they are pushing Obama very hard! He is the only one who has commercials on cnn. They seem to protect him every chance they get to bump him up on anything Hillary or others throw at him...

So are you saying doctor Paul supports policies that will benefit white poeple most? And how is that so? Does liberty now mean only liberty for white poeple like it always has in this country? Are you admitting to the racist core of this country? So what is your remedy, if we can not all have equal justice under the law and own our own lives without being harmed by our fellow citizens or our government?

Do you hear some racist code he is speaking? I think he would be truly disappointed to learn that some of his supporters have no interest justice and mutual respect. You sound just like the poeple that call Paul a racist--and in fact are supporting their position. What do you know that I don't know?

And I am plenty sane. Although sanity is not a requirement for brilliance! :)

Given that Paul's platform would end the discrimination that disproportionally puts millions of blacks behind bars for non-violent offenses, you get 30 minutes in the dunce corner.
