for those of you that watched john adams, it reminds me of that.
Adams and Jefferson would just walk through the street, no one would recognize them and there wouldn't be huge scenes like there are today. They could just take a stroll and discuss policy.
I think that is what Dr. Paul wants it to be like, the president isn't a celebrity, he is merely a guy who protects your liberties

In Rothbard's book, "For A New Liberty: The Libertarian Manifesto" Murray says that northern Ireland used to be libertarian (they had no government). Even courts were private. But then they were conquered. He said the fact that there was no main government made it very difficult to conquer.

Actually, the "executive" position in the Swiss federal gov't is held by a seven-person Federal Council, with the leadership position rotating annually. They supposedly make decisions as a group, and the head of the council represents the group. I know who it was last year, when I found this out, but I think it's changed by now!
