Paul Etch-a-Sketch Commercial on Drudge, Going Viral

There's one issue with this ad...it misses the REPUBLICAN base by throwing in the "endless wars" line. Again, either understand your base and go to it...or ignore your base and wonder how you get 6% in a Southern state?
I understand the media has much blame to bare, but the campaign continuously using the wrong messaging, does not help us.

I just posted the ad on my FB timeline with this headline: "I'm getting sick and tired of the other candidates and the media constantly talking about a silly plastic toy metaphor when we have much bigger world issues to discuss. Thank you, Dr. Paul, for calling them out!"

Then I asked everyone to donate to today's moneybomb in the comments. Hope it earns a few more donations! :)

Have to disagree. It is short, concise and clearly shows Ron's point throughout this entire election. MSM and Americans obsessed with the talking point of the day while our economy collapses and our men and women die overseas. Trivial? Reactionary? Nope. Taking advantage of idiot politics to get his message out? Yep.
^This, also since most of the visuals and effects used were also present in prior ads, and the majority of the rest is stock footage from the news cycle it's production cost is going to be low (already low because it's only 30 seconds which got it played on TV, but even lower because of the other aspects).
If it gets Pauls name back into the conversation then it's worth the resources because there are still too many soft/potential Paul supporters who think he's already dropped out of the race (thank you MSM blackout). Getting his name back in matters.

Here's the video:

That was absolutely stupid !!!

What the heck are they doing at RP HQ ?
I was expecting an ending that said something like "This is what the other candidates want to focus on" and then a picture of an etch-a-sketch ... It's one of the most ineffective ads I have thus far seen :(

It does seem to be a FOCUS problem.

"A country at war" = "the endless wars line?"

I hope non-internet-using Voters will get to hear about Dr. Paul's plan soon. At least, those that still need to vote. This add is great building up the plan, but now Paul needs to be in the media talking about his plan specifics.

Of course with the delegate based strategy it would probably be a waste of campaign resources to try to appeal for a popular vote victory. It is all about the delegates, after all.

I don't think this site understands the meaning of the word "viral"

First of all...something can't be "going viral" It either is or it isn't. And this isn't.

"A country at war" = "the endless wars line?"

Yes, that line. How about "Seniors are hurting..." "Gas prices are rising..." "The middle class is being wiped out." "The dollar devalued." "The Constitution ignored." "Bankruptcy on the horizon..." "Less security of our seniors..."

How about focusing on something else...adding an actual RP clip in their about something. Balancing the budget? Following the Constitution?
They have failed to address the foreign policy issue, and the Republican base thinks that RP's position on national defense is pretty much isolationism/pacifism.
