Who Is Nick Fuentes? | PBD Podcast | Ep. 654

"Patrick Bet-David interviews Nick Fuentes, the "America First" commentator who rose from college activist to online conservative figure. They discuss his political journey, clashes with conservative institutions, deplatforming, immigration, and Israel views, past controversies, and reflections after Charlie Kirk’s memorial."

On Rumble as well.

I've never watched this guy's show before.

Have seen him because people will post short clips.

There are two or three occasions when he starts to babble.

Holy fucking shit.

The only reason why a human being continues to listen is because you're praying that in the next moment, he'll STFU.

Maybe his regular viewers GAF about his non-opinions, they probably don't either, but no else GAF.

His other recent shows on YouTube have somewhere between 100k to 250k views on average.

Nick's show is already up to 1.2 million.

This Patrick guy really placed Charlie on a pedestal.

And Charlie seemed like a decent person but other than that, I don't really get it.

For me, "that guy" is Ron Paul.

To date, I haven't come across anyone else that I can place in that category.

I like Daniel a lot because he seems to be closely aligned with Dr. Paul's views.

But he's still no Ron Paul.

If you listen to the entire interview, you'll hear Nick say that, in his teens, he was a libertarian, a Ron Paul guy.

Not sure what he would classify himself as today other than "America First".

This is interesting.... I'm 30 minutes in, and so far PBD has done nothing but encourage Nick to tell his life story. I'm kinda hoping it's not 2 hours of that.

My initial thought is that PBD might be avoiding getting into a real discussion about issues and policy. I kinda think Nick would mop the floor with PBD, or if not mop the floor, at least send him to the ideological hospital with serious injury.

I'll be honest - I never watched a Nick Fuentes video before. I've heard his name kicked around, but that's it. I do know PBD. So I figured this would be a good introduction to Fuentes video.

I'm an hour and a half into it. Maybe I'm missing something, but Nick just seems like a kid. I kinda get that Vivek vibe from him where his delivery sounds polished and he's saying some things I'd agree with, but there just seems to be a disconnection in what he really believes about himself and the image he's trying to promote.

Maybe it'll change in the last 20 minutes, but I gotta take a break.

Just watched more of it myself. It's interesting because PBD is like a lot of us and doesn't know much about Fuentes except random clips here and there. So he is getting a background to see where Fuentes is coming from.

It seems that his direction as a teenager was very much shaped by a girl named Kassy Akiva, who I have never heard of before. She was a "friend" of his, but when Fuentes starting asking questions about blind support for Israel, apparently she made it her mission to destroy Fuentes (while still a teenager, a mission subsequently taken up by many others, especially Ben Shapiro.

Kind of ironic how her vendetta resulted in Fuentes pushing back even harder.

They do expand the conversation after the first 30 minutes.

He would be at least 10 million if he wasn't thrown off years ago.
During those Groyper Wars

I had never heard of Nick Fuentes until about a month ago. It was the Youtube of Candace and Tucker talking about Nick and REALLY cutting him down, and Tucker calling him "some gay kid living in his mother's basement" and looking genuinely afraid of Nick LOL it was pretty hilarious.

Find some videos of Nick debating others. There's a lot of them and they're the most interesting to me. He has a podcast so his Youtube channel (and Rumble) is full of those, but those are pretty boring to me.

He was a junior in high school and was doing a podcast, a radio show and a TV show about politics. That's pretty impressive all by itself.

Without any warning his bank account was frozen, the Feds took half a million of his money (and still hasn't given it back), he got put on a no-fly list with no explanation why, and he was de-platformed from all social media.

That's enough to get on my "good until proven bad" list.

I'm waiting on the Tucker and Candace and Ben Shapiro vs. Nick Fuentes debate. I predict Nick will torch all their asses simultaneously.
.

While the conversation was nice...

I'll stick with promoting "End the Fed", Mises.org, Ron Paul and similar. Everything else is just another distraction.

Nick is conscious of the fact that he's being exposed to a more mainstream audience.

IMO, he gives off a very good vibe.

And has a very good command of the English language.

If he had simply massaged the language around his opinions, he could have been a Rep, a Senator, maybe even POTUS.

He goes hard AF on Izrael and Zionism.

He'll even go beyond that, stating that it's "the Jews".

But since Charlie's assassination, people are claiming that Nick has already changed his message, detoured away from Izrael and their sponsors.

If Charlie's murder was meant to be a message, to silence critics of Izrael, it may have worked.

Fucking Nick.

Was just listening to his appearance on Alex's show, had to turn it off, which I don't typically do, I'll listen to Nick's entire shows.

Alex turned ever since the Billion dollar judgment, understandable.

And Nick just ran cover for both the Feds and Izrael...

Stating that they may not release evidence because it could "influence the jury". Fuck you.

And stating that Izrael was the least likely suspect in Kirk's murder. Double fuck you.

I may be projecting here, but he looked down when he was saying it, guilty conscience.

Nick is being rewarded for turning.

That kill shot did the trick.

"So let me get this straight… Nick Fuentes pops up on Patrick Bet David’s podcast and suddenly all the usual voices vanish 🤔🔥

Where the hell is the ADL’s press release? Where’s Ben Shapiro’s moral panic segment? Where’s Bibi calling it an existential threat? Where’s the endless think pieces about “platforming Nazis”?

For years the line was that even breathing the same air as Nick Fuentes made you guilty of “spreading hate.” Now he’s getting mainstream clips boosted and the same pro Zionist crowd that screams about “never again” is dead silent 🧐

Instead we’ve got Indian run Israeli aligned accounts chopping up Nick’s clips and shoving them into the algorithm. That’s not just silence that’s some selective bullshit."

What Daniel are you talking about? Daniel McAdams?
