During an appearance on FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino discussed the details surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s death.

According to Bongino, Epstein committed suicide.

“You said Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide,” host Maria Bartiromo said. “People don’t believe it.”

“Well, I mean, listen, they have a right to their opinion, but, as someone who has worked as a public defender, as a prosecutor, who’s been in that prison system, who’s been in the Metropolitan Detention Center, who’s been in segregated housing, you know a suicide when you see one, and that’s what that was,” FBI Director Kash Patel said.

Bongino added, “He killed himself. Again, you want me to — I have seen the whole file. He killed himself.”

This is the lesson here: The Democrats were never the enemy of MAGA. The true enemy of MAGA was, is and always will be the Republican establishment, certainly at the national level. The RINOs aren't "INO" ... they ARE the Republican establishment. They ARE the enemy of the people, every bit as much as Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden or any of the other usual suspects. If anything, the Republican establishment has been the point-man in knee-capping the populist right, every single time. First, the Tea Party, then the Birthers, now MAGA. Until the main body of American conservatives (regular Joe conservatives, not the Beltway types) wake up to what's really going on, and who their true enemy is, nothing will ever change. Ultimately, this is not a political issue, it's a spiritual issue. It's time that conservatives start waking up and pulling their heads out of the sand...

It's more sinister than that. This is the same narrative-jujutsu as they did with Virginia Giuffre getting hit by a bus (odd, to say the least) and then being suicided despite emphatically explaining publicly on her Twitter account that she is not and never will be "suicidal". The point of that story is demoralization. "Oh, you plebs thought that a whistleblower could save you? Think again, maggots!"

Trotting Patel and Bongino onto national TV and having them betray MAGA to its face is exactly the same narrative, in a different format. "You think that some hotshot commentators can unseat us?? Watch us trot them around the stage like puppets."

You can't intellectually "wake yourself up" out of a spiritual problem. If you are morally retarded, your intellect will simply serve that.

Repentance has a faith component and a higher being component. If you cannot conceive of that, you will just rot in nihilism. In order to overcome nihilism, you have to direct the nihilism directly at the ego. The individual that can do this is rare. This is the long path to Christ. The short path is to realize it's already been done. But even to humble oneself with respect to Christ requires basic honesty about what you are and what sin is.

Americans are quite far from radically self-assessing their spiritual state. If Covid, Trump-humping, and tacit approval of open genocide isn't making that clear, not sure what would.

I'm agreeing, but I'm saying this is an extremely difficult thing in a society such as ours even WITH Egypt like plagues and WITH prophets like Moses. In a society like this without those things, national repentance is near impossible. Complete destruction of Sodom/Gomorrah/Noadic variety, much more likely.
