Pat Buchanon reiterates his support for RP

perhaps he'd lose his megaphone if he was seen to endorse ron paul. i'm hoping he's just being stealthy

Waa, waa, waaa... our Founding Fathers risked their lives, and it's OK for Buchanan to wimp out because he's worrried about his job? What a crock!

BTW, Buchanan got his start as a mouthpiece for Nixon, the first Socialist Republican President. Don't fool yourself into thinking he's changed.

I am hostile, but overall undecided about Pat Buchanan.

I definitely have a great dislike for this man. I find him to be an opportunist, media groveling conservative poser, with pretenses of conservatism. But scratch this man and underneath you'll find he's an authoritarian big-government militarist through and through. All phony, pure and simple. But, other than that I am still undecided. ;)

All you, "whose with me to donate $5 NOW", idiots don't know the whole story. A formal Buchanan endorsement would've hurt the Paul campaign overall. Everyone knows this but you. BUchanan is the man.

STFU

Buchanon is a closet libertarian (as are many republicans). He (they) understand that our country was founded on libertarian principles, but has decided that it is more politically expedient to "lose one's way" and adopt the collectivist's ideals of the GOP. Here is a very educational read on Ron Paul's political philosophies relative to this topic:

Wasn't Buchanan all about Romney? WTF?

Yeah for 2 weeks before Super Tuesday when he realized Romney had the only chance of beating McAmnesty. Pat and Bay took any shots they could at McCain leading up to Super Tuesday. I remember Chris Matthews telling Bay, "you dislike McCain more than you like Romney. I've never seen anything like it." His assessment was correct

F Buchanan. Pure and simple.

No excuse for him not endorsing Paul.

Dude, why would you say that?! He's the (one of) the only guys on TV that supports and understand RP. THE REASON HE HASN'T ENDORSED IS BECAUSE MSNBC DOESN'T ALLOW THEIR EMPLOYEES TO ENDORSE!!! He obviously has indirectly endorsed RP by having his magazine, The American Conservative, endorse RP.

This site seems to really attack some of the few MSM pundits who give us some respect.

Agreed. I want Pat and Drew Carey and others to come directly out and endorse, but if not at least they are working with us.

Also, has anyone else noticed how all of the MSM "big boys" are softening more and more on Dr. P lately? 6 months ago all anyone did (when they weren't ignoring him) was call him a terrorist sympathizer and the "mayor of crazytown". Now Rush, Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck, Joe Scarborough, Tucker Carlson (who once called Libertarians "crazy") and others are giving Paul some long overdue respect. We ARE making progress people. Keep up the good work.

Exactly.

And that's why if he were truly a patriot he would have endorsed him long ago no matter what it cost him. That's what true patriots do. They risk something for liberty.

He would lose his air time, violate his contract and then get to say nothing.

Buchanan's support is something that should be welcomed with open arms. The fact that people here bash him for supporting Paul is very telling. I'm sure most of these people can't stop listening to Alex Jones' wide eyed conspiracies.

PB had a voice before he became a talking head on TV. He's got enough clout to get his message out there, whether it's for them or not. They all know how much influence they have over the race and how far an endorsement would go. If it was one poor schlub in fear of losing his job at the factory, then yes I would say keep your mouth shut. However, we should all know by now how much influence the coverage or lack thereof has on the election. If all the plastic people who secretly support him would grow a pair, we wouldn't be in the mess we are now.

I love how they're warming to RP after the election is over..... same with Rush, they do respect him and probably know they will have to listen to him or follow his ideals in the not too distant future
