Pat says everything to help Ron Paul, except the FINALE... A Public ENDORSEMENT... but NOW IT MAY COME TRUE!

With TANCREDO's announcement tomorrow ending his run for the GOP bid... wouldn't it be TREMEDOUS if TANCREDO and PAT BUCHANAN endorsed RP?

That would be an enormous endorsement from one of the tried-and-true conservatives. I don't agree with everything Buchanan supports, but I recognize he has deep impact and influence.

This was the first potential benefit for the Paul campaign that popped into my head. A PB endorsement would be VERY good. Now others are saying that Tancredo might even endorse Ron! I don't know about that, but I might as well hope. That would be 2 major endorsements as a result of this change in the race!

If he did he would probably be subject to millions in civil penalties, and he would be banned from commentating for money on most any major network. No, I don't think he'll do it.

There's a difference between "I will vote for him" and "I endorse him". They are not the same.

The key here is to NOT expect the endorsements, but hope for the best. If anyone wants to start a campaign to solicit Tanc's and Buchanan's endorsements, I say go for it.

Hmmm... Well all fans of Buchannan shoud at least know that if he could endorse someone, it would be Paul. Unfortunately that does not give the RP campaign any bragging rights.

Don't believe everything you read about Pat Buchanan in the media. I watch him on McGlaughlin Group all the time and he is not your typical neocon - he is an independent voice.

Buchanan has already endorsed Paul indirectly. Look at all the Paul-related content on his blog! If he can't officially endorse him because of legal issues, that's OK - because it's clear that he's one of us.

Buchanan is imperfect in some ways (he is kind of a man who believes Christianity should be shoved down your throat), but he is a true conservative.

Him and Tancredo = amazing endorsement.

I can't see Tancredo doing it though.

Well...Pat would be great...Tancredo...okay, I guess, but I don't know how realistic it is. They have some self-interest reasons not to endorse Ron. I'm hoping Penn Jillette endorses Ron right before the Iowa caucuses.
