Pastor John Hagee Calls For Pre-emptive Strike Against Iran

I'm pretty sure he's basing it off nothing. The idiot masses will follow whatever this guy says because they would rather let him interpret the bible for them than learn of it with their own intelligence.

You might also want to consider that this guy preaches that your level of wealth is directly equal to your approval rating with God, and to that end he uses his own personal wealth as a testament that he is doing everything right. (the masses are too stupid to realize they gave him money and made him rich I guess)

I live in San Antonio and have unfortunately been hearing bullshit from this guys mouth most of my life, I always wrote him off as a local quack and I can't believe he's now getting national attention.

I think he gets his ideas from his own book, Jerusalem Countdown. I've read this book and it gives a time line for when things are supposed to happen. Now if those things don't happen when he predicted they would, then his book sales will go down. Hagee will try to control as best he can the course of history so he won't look like an idiot in his books. It is too bad so many people are fooled by this false prophet. There are many like him too. People would do well to examine the fruits of these people to identify what they really are.

This is about 'interpreting' "Bless Israel and you will be blessed, curse Israel....". This is the danger of 'interpreting' Gods Word, meaning an individual or individuals try to interpret Gods Word. A true Christian will let the Bible interpret itself, and it does. Got a question about a certain passage? Do a cross reference, and another, and another, and another etc..

It blows my mind (not really) that there are people calling themselves Christians who pretend to have such insight and wisdom to 'interpret' things in such a way as this. Let it be known that the "New Israel" as mentioned in the Bible is the Christian church, not some U.N. forced state. Do a cross reference, and another etc.. and Gods Word will tell you the same thing. It does NOT (Israel of the Bible) lend itself to easily to be considered the U.N. state for anyone letting the Bible interpret itself. And yes they also pretend to understand Armageddon.

Pretty sad but totally of this world. Don't let other so-called Christians turn you off of Gods true Word, Gods Word is real personal, between you and Him.

Oh and Hagee looks like a carbon copy of Jabber the Hutt (for Star Wars buffs.)
Thanks Lady libertee for depressing me. I suspected as much but its worse than i dreamed. How can you sane Americans co-exist with the mad ones?
