Pastor calls for killing gays to end AIDS

PHOENIX — A recent anti-homosexual Sunday sermon by Pastor Steven Anderson of Faithful Word Baptist Church in Tempe has gotten tens of thousands of views on YouTube. In it, Anderson declares that no "queers" or "homos" are allowed in the church, and never will be as long as he's pastor.
He goes on to say killing gays is the way to an AIDS-free world by Christmas.
Two Phoenix-area pastors who were familiar with Anderson, say what they saw in the video was more hate than anything.

Wow! This is the same pastor who got beat up by border patrol. I was with him, in solidarity, with his border patrol outrage. However, I do not agree with his message about homosexuals. As a christian we should love the sinner, hate the sin. However, I am wondering if they are deliberately taking what he said out of context?

Well, he did say it, also said they were all pedophiles.

His church, his choice I guess. People can find another church if they don't like it.

It's sad they are comparing him to ISIS, and using that propaganda to describe him(even called him a terrorist leader in the same ISIS remark), as he has done excellent work fighting the CBP...and, for far too many people today, that will all matter not because of his remarks about gays.

Yeah, again, I do not agree with his delivery and way he said it but I will defend his right to say it. Comparing him to ISIS, I think not, since that is government sponsored.

Pretty transparent most of the time. There was a kid in High School that liked to talk about how disgusting gays were. You guessed it, he came out of the closet later.
