Shit I would too. Have you seen how ugly Joe Lieberman is? He looks like Elmer Fudd or what about Mitt Romney? He looks like a used-up prostitute with his mascara running down his eyes. That man needs to fuckin' sleep for a week or something, he looks horrible. Especially toward the end of his presidential campaign, he looked like he was going to have a meltdown. I'm not sure this is entirely accurate. Considering she sued to keep the Polar Bear off the endangered species list, is an avid hunter and pro Alaskan drilling, I'd be hard pressed to consider her an enviro-nazi.
I also don't find anything that states she's a war monger anywhere.
I do know she considers herself a moderate libertarian and general conservative and has made large strides against political corruption in both parties in Alaska. Virtue-oriented decisions like this are certainly a good sign.
Then again, she did put in place the largest operating budget in Alaskan history and ran with Education and Transportation as 2 of her 3 major platforms. I would conclude that given that she reduced the Alaskan state construction budget to an all-time low yet managed to put forth the biggest operating budgest of all-time that a large amount of funding went toward public education and public transportation--very un-Libertarian.
Nonetheless, it's hard to make an accurate conclusion on her when all I can find concerning her beliefs is what's written on Wikipedia and a few other brief jotting scattered accross the web.
She seemingly hasn't taken any or very few national issue stances. I'm sure we'll find out more going forward.
No way will I vote for McCain--I can't be conned into that. Nonetheless, I wouldn't throw her under the bus without specific information on where she stands on things.

For over a year, we've heard accolades about her on these forums. I'm glad I took a little time today to research her. I just took people at their word without giving her a second look. A lot of people wanted her as RP's VP, but I figured I'd wait until it mattered to check her out for myself.

Anyone who associates with a NeoCon is a NeoCon to these people. While others work within the political system to change it they will always be viewed to others as neocons cause they aren't running as a LP or as a RP candidate shill.
I think she can be a Buchananite, she is working with McCain probably cause she liked him in 2000 or as a double agent waiting for him to crook to take the lead job. I dono. I just know she's not a "neocon".
