Are you (or do you know) a liberty-minded high school or college student looking to get more involved in the fight for freedom?

I’m writing today to tell you that Campaign for Liberty is looking for interns for the spring semester (January 7 – May 15) at our national headquarters in Springfield, Virginia.

This is a paid internship, and responsibilities will include answering phones, handling correspondence, data entry, research projects, occasional blogging, aiding in the organization of petition drives to Congress, and assisting staff members with other tasks as necessary.

Those interested should submit a resume and a writing sample (as well as any questions they may have) to [email protected] by November 9.

In the past, motivated C4L interns went on to pursue job opportunities on Capitol Hill, at influential non-profits, and in other political endeavors after their time at Campaign for Liberty.

So I hope those interested won’t miss out on applying!

Contact us at [email protected] right away.

Matt, this is awesome, hopefully someone takes this great opportunity.

On a different topic, Matt, do you think it is possible to get Ron or Rand to visit Minnesota for a rally or fundraiser for Kurt Bills? I know that he's suffering from lack of media attention and lack of funds and I believe either of them showing up would help with both of his problems.

Something like that would need to be planned way in advance, I don't see it happening soon enough to make a difference.

Hmm.

Does it also include making incessant phone calls to supporters, begging for cash?

Man I wish I was a college student with a semester off...sounds like an awesome experience.

I really hate when C4L or the Paul campaign writes an email, and then make a postscript that explains the entire email again...

Well, hope some HS/College kids apply for this.

Agreed. I would think if Rand Paul was traveling around like now, it would be to swing states where Romney has a chance of winning, such as OH and NH. Sure enough, that's what he is doing. I could see him helping candidates raise funds in a state like MN just before the 2014 election.

That's because human nature dictates that a good deal of people won't read the entire thing, but just scan it with their eyes. When they get to the PS the tend to read that.

It's smart, they recap the entire letter into the PS to catch more people.

I find that really irritating too!

P.S. - I find that really irritating too!

Every email they send is just a sales pitch, and the PS is typical of any long form sales letter.

Is it normal for C4L to not get back with people?

I sent an email to them around 10:00 A.M. yesterday with questions and haven't received a response, yet. The email said to send any questions to that email, specifically.

Same here.

They have a pretty intense backlog of email it looks like. I sent an email October 11 and got a response October 23. I'm hoping to try and get in for the summer internship. Side question: If I get in, does it mean I get to meet the Collins/convince Ron Paul to run in 2016?!

Still nothing. Considering they said to have the required information turned in by Nov. 9th, people need to know this stuff a.s.a.p. because this is a huge commitment.
