[Edited to reflect changes in strategy]

Hello,

I'm running as a delegate for Ron Paul in PA, and I'm working with 5 other delegates, and two alternates. We have a lot going on right now, especially with PA postponing the delegate challenge deadline until Thursday at 5PM. It's been a crazy few weeks for us.

Anyway, it looks as though all of our delegates will be on the ballot. With that said, we are starting our plans to raise money in order to promote them. We put together a Chipin to raise between $5,000 and $8,000, and we need your help. We do have a plan in place to actually win, but we need money to execute.

Please read the posts in this thread to learn more.

So, here is the Chipin. Thank you for all your help.

PS: I posted this same information at DailyPaul:

Can you detail what the money is going to be used for? Are every states' folks need to raise the same amount of money or is there something special about PA that so much money is needed? 15K is a lot of money...

First, I have good news. Preliminary ballots have 3 delegates on each CD ballot. Total opponents between those two districts is over 20.

As you can see, we are competing with a LOT of establishment delegates. Most of the money is going to be used for a targeted strategy we're developing to maximize votes. And that's all I can say. But the good news is that we are on the ballot, pending any challenges to be filed by tomorrow at 5PM.

Also, I've been trying to to find the 2008 delegate ballots and election results for various counties/boros in PA. Can any help me with that?

Especially for 5 delegates and a couple alternates.

No, it's not. We can 40,000 prints to walking out at a prices of $1,500, but there are area we need to target where our opponents are, and they are not walkable. To mail 20,000 peices over 5 counties will cost $8,300, and that's a only a partial mailing to all Rs in our district.

We have printing equipment and bulk mail permits at work, if you only want one or two collar mailers I might be able to save you some money.

That would work. We are looking at mailing either 4x6 or 5.5x8.5 cards. The cards we can get 40,000 for $1500. The mailing costs are in the thousands. I'm sending you a PM.

15000? Thats alot to run a campaign for a delegate we set aside about 1000 for us in pa as well

We're on the same team guys. If you don't want to help, you don't have to, but we know our districts and how to campaign in them. We're asking for help in that regard.

Thanks.

I was on the ballot in 2008.

I'll tell you this. The Republican machine is well oiled in PA.
You need to be an insider to win. The Republicans in my area couldn't believe that someone would just run to be a delegate without being part of the machine. I got very few votes outside of my community.

If you're pro-life it certainly helps to get endorsed by lifepac too. I did. They have a flyer that lists all pro life candidates.

I wish you luck.

Why does it seem like district 8 has nothing at all going on. That is the problem with PA. Only certain places are working on stuff and other do not. That is why we do not even stand a chance in PA.

BECAUSE YOU HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING! Did you gather signatures to become a delegate? Doesn't seem like it. Now its pretty much too late, you've been a member here since Nov 2011 you have PLENTY OF TIME to do something, but you haven't. We had 15% of the vote in 2008, when McCain already had enough delegates at the time.

What do you mean? I know we have several delegates running in district 8. That's Bucks county right? Your district did excellent with the petition drive as far as I know.

Of course District 8 is in great shape. tuggy24g is messed up. He's been posting in a separate thread about helping out in Bucks with a bunch of people. Seems like hes all talk and no walk.
