Article "This is Official Write-In Deadline Time, Act Today for Paul! These Votes Will be Counted" now gets "403 Access Denied" error.

It is nothing more, as you can see, than informational about getting Ron Paul as a write-in on state ballots. Do the dirty tricks against Ron Paul never end?

Does anyone know anyone at the site?
 
Well, but if Michael did it, it isn't a hijack.

I think he's back from China - could this really have happened without his OK?

I don't think Michael would do this. Furthermore people were complaining strange behavior at the website in weeks past, like 'access denied' errors on key pages which then suddenly went away, getting your connection broken all night etc. If it's an admin block of your id admins always tell you why you've been blocked. It would be a pretty high-level hack but its possible.
 
Presidential elections are different in many states from rules for other offices, and that includes in California. We did it in 2008, and they were counted.

It is the ELECTORS that run.

I hate to be the one who brings bad news. But not only has the date passed to be a write in candidate, but most important, the candidate himself as to initiate the write in... otherwise it is nothing more than a protest vote and will not be counted. Here is the form required for your state.

that is the PRIMARY not the general election. You are voting for electors in the general election.
 
Now the same thread/information has been "unpublished" and labeled "spam" by the "spam filters" it says, in all my years of posting I have never seen that. Getting Ron Paul on as an OFFICIAL write-in candidate in many states is scaring the Johnson hijackers who have taken over the site (notice picture of Ron has been removed). Post below:

I just found out the the time for registering official write-in presidential candidates is NOW, this is usually one of the last deadlines on the elections deadline calendar. Being an official write-in means the votes get tallied and counted.

Here is a link from 2008 with information on all the states. Although outdated, it still has many useful links.

Requirements vary. Usually making an official write-in involves getting a small number of registered voters (12 in my state) to sign and notarize. THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT YOU NOT WAIT ANOTHER DAY to pick up the phone and find out when the deadline is. This time of year they are passing day by day.

Well, here is the actual california code on electors filing for Ron, as was done in 2008, and his votes were counted in California. http://www.leginfo.ca.gov/cgi-bin/displaycode?section=elec&group=08001-09000&file=8650-8653 Even if mine weren't counted, for ME, I'd rather have my vote be for a 'none of the above' category than for a candidate I don't want, though. Other people's mileage may vary.

Right now I have a call in to the Secretary of State's office in California to find out if 55 electors have ALREADY filed for Ron, as a letter to an editor in Napa Valley indicated. It didn't mention electors just the declaration of candidacy. To do it right, that is what the electors file, but I want to double check that it has already been done properly, before I decide not to file myself.

Can you explain to me how you "confirmed" with Michael nystrom about how his site was hijacked?
 
Looks to me like they are hijacking Paul's name rather than the site itself.
 
It looks like the OP said in another thread that he was GOING to write a letter but there is no confirmation he did. The picture is down and there was a 'farewell' piece on the front page and a bunch of people over there don't like it, but I was assuming Michael knew about it. Is it really possible he doesn't know?

but that's not a "confirmed hijack" that someone doing something someone else doesn't like.

the reason why one of the posts might have been deleted was because the poster was attacking the site.

I agree that if Michael is on board, as I assumed he must be, it isn't a hijack.
