Well, if McCain can loose a solid red state like South Carolina then I think that will have an effect on the GOP in the future. I don't just want McCain to loose, I want him to be pummeled and punished.

That would be nice, yes, but Paul and Barr have said it both themselves: They don't expect any third party to win at all. The only state where voting third party is very crucial, in my opinion, is Minnesota, since the Ron Paul influence is pretty big up there. If the latest polling was correct, McCain losing the state purely because of Ron Paul will be the greatest thing ever.

I'll agree that voting for John the Fascist McCain is the worst thing for the future of the constitutionalist/libertarian wing on the Republican Party.

If in Montana a vote for RP is of course the best.

Quite frankly, I think we are screwed entirely. The only option left after this election cycle will be to secede. We have Obama who wants to "redistribute the wealth," and McCain who is fascist, and a Republican, killing our chances of taking that party. After all is set and done, too much damage will have been done to save the Federal government. If McCain wins, it would still be possible to save the Federal government but it would be next to impossible unless we formed a third party, which few on here seem to want to do.

Same story with the lines in Greenville last week when I voted. It was only 2:30 pm on wednesday, so I was expecting it to take less than 20 minutes and ended up writing and finishing writing a 2- page letter to a friend while in line for an hour.

(I voted Baldwin and Conley, BTW. And put a big fat checkmark by the democratic opponent running against 'Rescue plan yes-man Inglis.')

You guys should trade votes so you won't feel guilty. So if someone just has to vote for Obama the socialist as the lesser of two evils, he can be matched by someone that just has to vote for McCain the fascist as the lesser of two evils.
