One wonder's why the delay in releasing the RP numbers.

Because the FCC doesn't believe them and is waiting until after February 5th to post them? :) I'm not waiting, I already added the historic event of RP being 4th quarter top earner to the Ron Paul Timeline :D

Holy shit! Only Mittens raised more than Paul did in the Third Quarter and only a million more at that! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Dr Pauls 20 Million+ makes them all look stupid. The best part is that Dr Paul only takes contributions from individuals which is limited to $2,300 per person. The other candidates take PAC money which gives them an additional $5,000 per person on top of the $2,300.

I really hope the MSM reports this. I know they won't make a big deal out of it but the least they could do is mention it a little.

Either there are typo's, or I am not reading this properly, or something. This can't possibly be accurate. Are you saying McCain and Romney are that far in the hole, and Romney has spent that much of his own money to get a $400,000 a year job?

No, there are no typos. This is absolutely accurate.....except their cash on hand also includes donations they have received for the general election. For example, in the 4 quarters of 2007, McCain received a total of $2.2 toward the general election. That money (which he can't even use for the primaries) is included in Cash On Hand.

This is the direction the fundraising figures have been headed for a long time. Ron Paul started with small fundraising, it increased more each quarter, and he spend in a measured way. The others mostly spent all or a large part of what they received each quarter, and counted on the coffers to be filled. They didn't really save any for the latter quarters (when they would need more, and fundraising is usually less).

It's so obvious that the other candidates spend like big government! Ron Paul does not!

lol

Romney's debt is to himself.....the money he has loaned to his campaign.

McCain has gotten enough in contributions since he started winning to more than pay off his debt ($7M in January). But I'm guessing he has spent a lot of it instead.
Maybe he will get matching funds to pay off the debts.
