O'Reilly "Refutes" Paul on Drug War

I didn't see the whole debate, was the drug war a big issue? Seems that is the talking point today for those on the attack.

So why are we protecting the opium fields in Afghanistan and facilitating the transport and cultivation of opium?

Ron Paul is not "pro-drug" as they would like us to believe, but he is anti-the drug war.

He also thinks its hypocritical that alcoholics are treated as addicts yet those addicted to other types of drugs are treated like criminals.

He points out that more people die from prescription drugs than illegal ones.

Furthermore, his position has been that the Federal Government does not have the Constitutional authority to outlaw drugs, that its a states' issue.

If the Federalies want to outlaw drugs they would need to do so as they did with the Prohibition and amend the Constitution.

Their respective foreign policies reflect their courage as individuals. Bill is just a puffed up pussy and a coward, who only feels safe bullying and intimidating others. Ron Paul is a real man, who fears no evil and is confident enough in his own strength to treat others respectfully.

We should all send him messages along the lines of "Bill, I agree that selling dangerous substances is a violent crime. This is why we need to ban alcohol and tobacco." He won't know if we're serious or not!

Guns too. We could add things to make the messages sound more like earnest messages from liberals, like, "I've been telling people for years..." Bill would never grasp the importance of the point, but daring him to argue against that position, without invalidating his drug position, would make him do a WHOLE lot of squirming and mental gymnastics. Even a few in his audience might recognize the inconsistency.

where do we put all the offenders? In the ocean? How then to we insure we are not feeding fish that will continue their own lives and multiply, do we need to poison the people then put them in the ocean? what if some creature thrives on this poison?

He's too egotistical to question his own thoughts, and he's too narcissistic to ever adopt any position at odds with the people in his social circle. The urge to conform dominates him, because it determines the level of adulation and backslapping he receives from the people around him.
