Orange County: Sheriff begins taking away concealed weapons permits

To a cop, not averting your eyes and grovelling is a show of force.

again, it's articulation, how will a cop articulate looking him in the eye as a show
of force in the courts, a decent lawyer would make him a laughing stock where as
you using that expression for that very act would have you jailed as it's an
admission of guilt

And indeed, it shall be a show of force.

determination, commitment, resolve, will power, purpose, fortitude, grit, strength
of character, a half dozen other ways of saying it, to a court and to most people
the expressions 'show of force' suggests the use of force

California = Communists.

Take it from a native Californian, leave that state if you live there. It's a lost cause. Move to a free state where you can help hold the line for freedom by making your vote count. Eventually this fight will end in the liberals communists taking over because the free people are spread to thin or they will get tired of the fight and leave the union so they can become their own communist nation, or be taken over by Mexico.

This is just the opposite, but I read an article in our local PA newspaper about a woman who was legally (openly) carrying a handgun at a Lebanon soccer game. People at the game complained and the woman's permit was revoked.

A judge reinstated her concealed carry permit.

It was extremely stupid of the sheriff to take away her CONCEALED carry permit for OPEN carrying her gun, anyway.

Taking her concealed permit away means that open carrying her gun would be the only way she could legally carry it, which is what the very confused sheriff was trying to prevent in the first place.

DOH! :p

Meanwhile, cops who violate your rights should be SUED DIRECTLY. Don't sue the boss, don't sue the county, don't sue the city. They will simply throw more tax dollars or fiat notes at it and go on as usual. It's when the individual officer knows he might lose his flat screen and bass boat that he will think twice before just being a lawbot.

You CANNOT sue an INDIVIDUAL law enforcement officer.

They are protected from individual lawsuits by law, in every single state of the union.

You can only sue the department and/or the government entity that controls it.

That's a man, man!
