We need to get an early start on conquering the Google ranking wars for 2016. We need to expose Rand's opponents as unacceptable to conservative voters.

That's why I created Tax Hike Mike: The Mike Huckabee Files.

I did a good bit of research. More would be appreciated. If you can think of anything damaging to him, let me know.

I also want to expand to include his other possible opponents as well. I'd like to work on Peter King next. Then of course we have Christie, Santorum, Bush, etc. to contend with. Eventually, all of the blogs can be linked to each other, driving up traffic.

If you can help spread the Mike Huckabee site, that would be a big help. And if you can find some dirt (statements, positions, history, votes) on Peter King, that would be great too.

I'm going to use a couple of scorecards to go back and look at his voting record, but I will probably overlook some of his controversial statements, so that is really what I need help with.

Thanks!

Project Vote Smart and the New American Freedom Index are very good places to research Congresscritters.... the other places to look are NAGR, and Freedomworks, and GOA. Lesser places include ACU, Heritage, and NRA.

Truth be told we need every statement made to be saved by a few.

Things are hard to come by. I know what Peter King has said but finding certain statements might be difficult, anymore.

Videos are removed over phony copyright issues, and things are lost in the wind. I save what I can but it is necessary folks take the time to store the various interviews, statements, etc.

This is a good time to start registering domains. Get ones with candidates' names, mixed with terms that will be used by the press when the primaries start. Don't post them here for obvious reasons.

Herman Cain Forums!

I kind of hope Herman runs again this year. That was hilarious.

But seriously, yes. We should grab up:

mikehuckabeeforums.com
jebbushforums.com
etc.

There were some really good threads there. I wonder if the moderator has the content archived somewhere.

I'll get this thread moved to Hot Topics long before the election.

"[Rand Paul] said there is billions of phone calls being collected.. that's not really true, but assume he's being right for once."

It is provably true.

Just a reminder to readers of this thread that our research skills can and will also be used by other campaigns, PACs, and special interests too. Be careful what you post and why you're posting it. Not everyone here at RPF is interested in getting Rand elected!!

That's a very good point that I am/was trying to be considerate of (I didn't post a few videos that I personally find atrocious).

I have no idea what the base of republicanism finds appealing or how that base will shift come 2016 (I imagine more towards a positive light).

King's demonization of Snowden is a negative for him, I would say. Others might find that to be a positive. And the media can portray shit as gold with enough repetition.

Opposition research for Peter King is a waste of time. He is not a serious threat to Rand Paul 2016.
