Oh man. Thanks for this thread. I'm crying I've been laughing so hard. The graphic just set me off.

Whoever diggs this HAS to title it "Tea bag Ron Paul". I think people will be laughing too hard to bury it so the message might get out. I know I will be even when I see it again.

This idea is actually NOT complicated.

Truly, a solitary individual could do this, but only with the backing of every one of us. New YouTube accounts need nothing but an individual email address. So, potentially, someone with unlimited e-mail account creation could create 100 accounts and upload single/multiple Ron Paul videos (new or old...the most popular one pre-existing ones would be easiest) and label them as suggested - flashing graphics of "Ron" - "Paul" - "Revolution" (or "For" - "President") with alternating black and white text (or colored text, or an image, or _____).

Ron Paul supporters need only open these videos in their browser and give them "5-star" ratings - easy enough. We call upon one another to rate, debate, and infiltrate every single day. This idea is far from impossible. There is a Ron Paul video on YouTube RIGHT NOW with over 155,000 views (last time I check), so I know a "coordinated" effort is entirely possible.

We should do this on the 14th, to make sure they are up on the 15th.

Let's tag the videos TBYT AND have a thread here we all post links to the videos we created. The thread starter will go through the thread and edit his original post to include ALL the links to the videos. That way we just come here, open the thread, and go down the list clicking/rating/commenting on the videos.

Even if we only made 200 videos, that should be plenty. I'll make 5 or 10 to help out.

Right on! Yeah thats what i was thinking of doing with the links. if we manage to get ONE WHOLE PAGE covered that will be awesome.



But If we do it the on the 14th they wont be on the most viewed and most discussed lists for the 16th they only stay up for one day. See I was thinking this would get our people hyped up a couple hours before the 16th.

We need to find the best day in order to upload the videos and the best day to boost their popularity. It can work perfectly in order to hit the front pages exactly on December 16th.

Let's not forget that on the 15th, many will be out in the streets, so we may lose a little steam that day.

I agree we need to start making tea party videos now. But I'm hoping to get as many people as possible involved.

Someone needs to put a sticky thread tutorial of how to make youtube videos too for people like me.

I would think the 12th or the 13th would be the day to start this on to ensure they're popular by the 15th. And the 15th is the day we will be hyping the 16th so it would make sense for these youtube videos to be popular on the 15th, that way anyone watching them will know about the next day.

im willing to help out. i do think its better to post it earlier on, maybe already on sunday the 7th of december. might be good to do it a few days (or a week) ahead of time so to build up momentum and draw extra attention to the cause. the ron paul vids will be in the top ranked for a week or longer. read the stuff below:


setting the infrastructure has to start asap:

- youtube side
1. get someone with time on his/her hands to open a new youtube group.
2. it is clear it has to be someone with good connectivity and understands the youtube interface. if no experience yet, practice with the groupoptions so you will be ready when the moment is there.
3. set the youtube settings correctly so this 1 person can only upload etc.
4. gather people with a youtube account in this new group.

- video side
1. the youtube group owner gathers all 20 videos and puts them on his own harddisk ready to go
2. when uploads starts, make sure to upload them all asap.
3. send out notifactions to all, (and well, everyone already knows so they will start clicking)

- viral side
1. poke all your friends etc to do the same
2. use all 3 your youtube accounts to rate and discuss
3. if you are downtown, go to a library or an internetcafe to click, rate, discuss.

i checked what would give these videos a topranking for a month periode in several catogories, these we can aim for:
rated: need about 2,500 five-star-ratings to be sure (well doable).
discussed: thats all about what we are known for: spam aim should be 15,000 comments per video.
favorits: about 25,000 times to ensure teh #1 spot
responded: 500 responses per video

on the other hand, only 1 week might be needed to stay in the charts, so more modest targets can be made aswell

i sadly cannot commit myself to be in charge of this, because im not sure how my agenda will be like the comming 2 weeks. but i do offer to be a back-up and to help out as much as i can.
