Well we had a huge success today. It started off with the our itunesbomb commercial ad on GCN radio, to the occupy Leno today! The boys rocked and the crowd was singing along and we got it all on tape! We passed out flyers telling people about the itunesbomb.

Listen. Before, the song did NOT contain Ron Paul in the title.
NOW, the song DOES contain Ron Paul in the title.

It's a philosophical argument about whether Golden State is trying to hype themselves. It doesn't really matter if they are or not.

This project involves getting "Ron Paul" on the itunes charts.

There are 8 Ron Paul songs on itunes. Most people are most excited currently about this song. This song, right now, has the chance to get "Ron Paul" on the itunes chart. And this is what the project is. I have another thread where other "Ron Paul" songs would go on the itunes charts as well. This song is the "point" song, the one that gets pushed onto the charts first.

I think it's a good thing to have "Ron Paul" on the charts. You should too.

I couldn't care less about your song selling on itunes.

I care about Ron Paul being the next President of the United States.
If your U-2 knock off was worth it's salt, it would make it's own way on 2 itunes, and you could donate to the Campaign's MoneyBomb, like the rest of us.

Whereas Dr. Ron Paul has spent his entire life selflessly working on our behalf.

To Me, Ron Paul or No one at all, means just that.

I am not Golden State. This isn't my song. This isn't my thread. This is not my project. I did not ask for this thread to be a sticky. I'm not asking anybody to do anything.

If you wanted to, you could read this whole thread to see where I'm coming from.

What I've been doing all year is commenting on projects. If I see a project has some merit (and I think this project does have some merit), I try to steer the specifics of the project to something that would help Ron Paul.

You haven't been looking at my Facebook. Because if you did, you'd see that about half of my content is Ron Paul related, and money bomb day had a lot of me sharing moneybomb stuff.

Most of my comments on this project have been "how does this help Ron Paul if Ron Paul is not in the title?" Those were objections to this project. Now, Ron Paul is in the title. I no longer have objections to this project.

However, you will not see any evidence that I feel this project is extremely important.

I have argued that this project is a waste of time. And I no longer feel that this project is a waste of time.

I have my own thread on this project, where I have listed ALL the Ron Paul songs on itunes. My theory is that once 1 Ron Paul song gets on the itunes charts, the other Ron Paul songs could possibly get on the itunes charts. That, to me, is the possible big score. Some think that we should spend a lot of money buying the Golden State song over and over. My theory is that fans of Jordan Page, Aimee Allen, Paul Trinca, etc will buy all the songs at the same time. And that would be a cool result.

Cool. I mean, you have some valid points. I just wanted to make clear that I wasn't "that guy", even if I was arguing with you before. There's really no reason to attack this project. There's no facepalm wrongness about this project. It does appear that this is a "official campaign" year though. There really hasn't been much in the way of effective "grassroots", separate from the official campaign. That's perfectly fine. Look at the polls. The polls are great compared to last year. An effective official campaign is better than the type of grassroots we had in 2007. In 2007, there were some great things from the grassroots, but some bad things as well. I'm seeing only good, really from the official campaign this year. We haven't invented or popularized money bombs this year. We didn't invent the tea party this year. But we didn't have a bunch of poorly supervised grassroots pelting Hannity with snowballs, and we didn't spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a blimp.
