It's a problem everywhere. It's not merely name recognition but being able to connect the face with the name with the policy positions. It takes repeating a message over and over and over and over for it finally to sink into peoples' heads where they remember your name with your face with your message. Ron Paul's name and face competes with hundred and hundreds of names and faces on TV every day; it's not easy to break through, especially considering that like 50% of Americans don't know who Dick Cheney is.
I don't think people realize how well we are really doing, considering we came out of nowhere with a dark-horse only a few knew.
