only 86% 3rd Still Possible !

do you understand that 4th place has 34% more votes than us? paul would need something like 25% of the yet to be counted votes with mccain and thompson getting none to vault over them.

just because i can do basic math and am capable of being realistic doesn't make me a troll. more likely is that you are a troll -- either that or a moron.

Exactly.

But your still missing the point. 87% means 87% of PRECINCTS. A single precint which is fraction of a % can have anywhere from 100 to 100,000 votes. One precinct alone can launch us into 3rd.

EDIT: And the largest precincts always come in last because they have the most votes to count.

EDIT2: Also, 34% more votes than us is nothing if their are alot of votes to be counted. Its only a % of the votes we have now, mostly from small precincts and not the big ones where Paul has most of his support.

yeah, i admit that if the remaining precincts are huge ones then there would be an outside chance. still incredibly unlikely, and i'm not sure why it would make me a troll to say that.

The problem is only a couple of precincts have more than a few hundred votes total. I doubt you will have precinct in Iowa with 100,000 votes when the entire state only has had about 100K people vote.

Paul isn't going to move out of 5th but he can get a little closer.

1. Mike Huckabee 4,987
2. Mitt Romney 2,946
3. John McCain 1,767
4. Fred Thompson 1,761
5. Ron Paul 1,470
and only 47% reporting
from http://libertybroadcastnetwork.org/

where you getting your info?

ok ok maybe you are not a troll. but you really don't know what you are talking about so learn some basic math and stop saying there is no chance for my man RON PAUL!

I dont think its incredibly unlikely. Anyone remember Florida Broward County. That one county changed the ENTIRE election.

Maybe he can still win then!

Hey, I can hope. It's not like I want him to do bad. I'm invested.
