Not sure. Do you mean absentee voting or getting them to vote early in the day?

Vermont is like a mash up between a caucus and regular ballot voting. Some towns you vote at town meeting and others you vote like a primary.

I have no problems with high expectations but I would like to remind everyone if Ron ends up 3rd we still need to keep our sense.

I keep dreaming over and over Ron will win Alaska, ND, Idaho, Virginia and Vermont... and the momentum will wake up the softies and propel us to the White House but if it doesn't happen I'm not going to turn into chicken little...

Never lose sight of the bigger picture that's all I ask.

ppp Washinton said Ron would get 15% yesterday and come in far behind Santorum and Romney, both. In MN PPP was way off, in NH also. Whenever Ron does particularly well, they are way off. When Ron did BEST, in Maine, they didn't poll at all and their poison was out of the narrative.

I agree. However, all of those except for NH were caucus states. PPP polled more for a primary in those states because it is so hard to pull for a caucus as a caucus doesn't show the support of a candidate in a high turnout election but in an extremely low turnout election.

That said, maybe we will do well in VT. I know both the Paul and Romney campaigns have put some effort into the state. Hopefully, the Romney staff in Boston focus more on MA than VT and Paul can do pretty well in VT. The Romney staff worked very hard in NH and pretty hard in ME, but the population centers in those states are a lot closer to Boston than the VT population center. Plus, VT is an open primary and lots of anti-war, anti-drug war supporters. If the grassroots in the Burlington area get some of those people out, Paul will do well. I have no idea what the grassroots is doing in Burlington, though.
