omg grassroots revolution

If you guys have some free time (which it seems like you do) you can help us make phone calls for Murray Sabrin.

*nods* milly posted this the other day and I've been helping when I can... I'm not just idling around ;) It's a worthy effort, though; I love that guy. Trying to get calls made before the weekend.

Loti's a crook. I donated $30 to RPR only to find out he took it and ran, along with thousands in other donations to the station.

Thanks for nothing.

I gave a $100 or $150 to this venture back in the day.

I learned my lesson.

That's probably why some people get very angry on here when I am a huge pain about transparency about those requesting donations for projects.

Legitimacy isn't the question, it's transparency when soliciting donations from strangers on the internet.

Man, you remember when I broadcasted live from Orlando, FL, for the debates? And we had that big afterparty/rally. Dude, you may think that money went to nothing but everything RPR was about was the movement, I don't know you, and you don't know me, but I don't respect your assertions nor do I respect many others.

Sorry but if it wasn't for the donations there would have been no Ron Paul radio, we did a lot of things on the donations, many people broadcasted live from debates and rallies and contrairy to popular belief, it was a lot of hard work and news flash, the campaign *crumbled*, if anybody knows this it's me for sure... It was just hard to make it happen, we tried to make people work and make everything perfect... and we *we're* successful because Ron Paul radio was all about the movement, and because of us I'd say it's a fair assessment that we improved major donation days for Ron Paul, and because of us we increased the revenue amounds for him. We were also the only on-scene reporting from the Iowa caucus. We had the official numbers first before *anybody* !!! It was a lot of work and I tried to make a good radio environment but the fact of the matter is it was an open donation policy, and I tried to keep things fair for everybody and make everything happen the best I could, it was all about the movement, so we had people broadcast that's what it was about....

The Ron Paul blimp got at least 150,000$$ for sure and for 30,000$ I could have had a real live radio station for 4 months in Iowa before the caucuses but that was back when nobody cared... I'm sorry if it wasn't everything you wanted but it wasn't exactly everything I wanted either, it wasn't perfect but we made the revoluton better and we really pushed the limit for Ron Paul. We did the best we could but it was really difficult, that's why I just couldn't do it, I hope everybody is happy with the things I did do because I really did work hard and did the best I could to make the best thing I could for Ron Paul and the movement.. And I am still very useful. Maybe I just don't understand why everybody's so upset but I am too, after all, I gave like $600+ to Ron Paul and he still didn't win, I sacrificed my dime, and I also did put money into RPR, so lets be easy here ppl...=/

I have no knowledge of the claims of missing money at the end, but I do know that DJLoti worked his backside off to get that radio station going. He did it on a wing and a prayer and had little help from anyone else for quite awhile. I personally thought it was amazing he pulled it off on the scale that he did.

RPR kicked some serious ass back in the day.
But I was really disappointed about the faction shit.. I thought people, and above all, OUR kind of people - could get over childish shit like personality clashes etc.. I think management could have been a lot better..

As terms of production, was pretty ace. Thanks for the good times, miss the packed irc chat.. :D
