Okay, who spilled the beans

Who cares, John is not an official campaign manager so please don't get all over his back. He might have been pulling at our legs a little, who knows, but we all had fun guessing what it might be...

For the record, I think John and I differ on our subjective valuations of the importance of a Tancredo announcement.

I'm hard to miss. Seriously.

Say hi!

Here is what I know:

The room is about 20,000 sq feet. Capacity for 1,500+ people.

Ron Paul will be there. We will have profession sound system, food and drinks. Music (canned). And best of all, we share a thin wall between us and Ed Failor.

It's in the same facility - just the room right next door. :D

When we draw a larger croud then all those "credible candidates", the news will have to take notice. This is our straw poll bump we are needing. Everyone - get your butts to Des Moines amd make news.

Let's not worry about the details. Let's just get there. I've never met Ron Paul before. Hope I get to. If there are 2,000 of us there, that may be difficult. Someone get my picture with him? :-)

We should all wear name tags with our RPforums names so we can say "hey."

I'll get your pictures :) And the name tag idea is a good one, I'm new as far as posting goes but I've read you guys for a while and it'd be nice to meet some of you. I'm coming from far out of state, and it'll be good to know a couple people in such a (hopefully, surely, definitely) large crowd.

John from Des Moines has

Zero credibility. Get this guy out of campaign communications, he's hurting us if this was the 15 on a scale from 1 to 10, bigger than a Tancredo announcement.

I have to say, this isn't a 15. But it is an excellent thing, nonetheless, and I'll be thrilled to be there.

But consider, this John guy was probably massively excited to have RP coming, so to him, it's a bigger thing than it is for those of us who are driving 12 hours to be there.

In any case, we can all relax now. I encourage everyone to come, and if any are on the way between WV and Iowa, let me know if you want to catch a ride or follow each other there.

You are right. Let's see how many are going out to Iowa next weekend!

Now that was definitely worth the wait.

Oh so funny too. This thing is going to completely overshadow the other forum.

You’ll no doubt get at least some of the attendees from the other forum.

I wonder if the other candidates will come, get some food and sit in the audience and take notes.

Hahahahh……to funny.

Brilliant! Whose idea was this? God I wish I could be there.

Special invitations should go out. Get Colbert there.

John from Des Moines has

Zero credibility. Get this guy out of campaign communications, he's a rally killer. He's turned good news into disappointment to satisfy his own ego that ooh, Mista Kotta, I knew a campaign secret before everyone else!

I bet that's the last campaign secret John from Des Moines gets let in on.

Will RP supportors be handing out flyers to the ITR and ICA members as they leave their forum? Will the RP supporters in those organizations promote this during the event so that those other member attend?

More importantly: Will the RP supporters in the ITR and ICA ask questions of the other candidates concerning the fact that Dr Paul wasn't invited to get them on the rcord about censorship??! :D

Gee! Free hot dogs for the first 500! That's right up there with a fucking used car sale! Let me drop everything and drive to Iowa for this "15" event. Ron Paul is going to be there. (so will the INVITED candidates).

We're happy about this WHY? Can someone explain to me WHY THE HELL I've waited since before midnight for this shit? Anybody? We want to be taken bloody seriously, and we ANNOUNCE that 500 fuckin' people get free food? We're going to have an earth-shattering meeting, but the bloody room only holds 1,500 people. Right.

Someone e-mail me when this campaign gets serious.

"Dr. Paul will share his message of freedom, peace and prosperity"

ughh.... I have come to hate those words ever since Bush's Security and Prosperity Partnership.

Giving this more thought, I realize that...

I've known about the philosophy for longer than I've known about Dr. Paul, and

I've been at events with Dr. Paul featured as a speaker 4 times now, and

for some people, this may be their first time to hear him speak in person.

So that's probably why for me it seems like a bit of a letdown.

But for those supporters who are making the trip to Iowa, and for the supporters in Iowa, this probably does seem HUGE!

So KUDOS to you guys and I hope you each come away with even more passion for the philosophy and even more energy for the campaign!

Look, he's SWORN not to tell until it's been released by HQ. Let's respect that. He thought it was going to be right away after he threw us the teaser. Let's drop this.

Because he's still obliged to adhere to what he promised the campaign HQ... not to tell.

I know what it is - but should not share until the HQ has had time to properly release the full details.

You'll be ecstatic !
