Greece is wonderfull ! Just go to the Islands and not Athens.. Athens there's alot of crime, theft mainly.. But the Islands are paradise.

I don't care for mainland Greece either. Love it around Santorini. My son is a Navy officer and just got deployed to Greece for two years - he bought an awesome place in Crete with lots of olive trees, flowers, in-ground pool, overlooking the sea. I hope to buy it from him when his tour is up. There's no way I can stay in this country for four more years of what we've been through the past eight....no way. Especially when I have a pretty good premonition it's only going to get worse if McCain gets in.
