I have previously heard, about 9:00 PM. the "official" results will be in, but I suspect we'll have a good idea of how things are "panning out," well before then.
When is that...EST?

That's a "general" guide.When is that...EST?
Wow...that was enlightening...![]()
I wonder what their attitude is going to be if we take first or second place?
Will they pretend to be nice or will they go into ultra attack mode?
When you've been abused for so long a little less abusive treatment seems like a "lovefest". They are setting us up to be happy with second best. For a long time it was "Ron Paul won't win. He has no chance". Now it will switch to "Ron Paul may be a contender in this race. He still won't win, but he could definitely upset the balance of power". This new "positive" bent is designed to disarm Ron Paul supporters who should be pushing for one singular goal in this election: Victory! Not "spreading the message" or "opening people's eyes". That is the failed tactic the Libertarian party has taken for decades. We must win! 2nd place is the first loser and will be forgotten before the new president has time to finish his inauguration speech. Just look at Ross Perot who got 19 million votes in his first run. When he ran the second time around he was dead in the water. Howard Dean, for all his fundraising and energetic campaigning, was all but forgotten the minute he lost the nomination to Kerry. Al Gore knew better than to run a second time, even though he arguably won the first. America doesn't like losers, and we have a very short memory.
now THAt wa a great comment--thanx for posting youtube!!This is why. If one of McCains own staff can help but blurt out that Ron Paul will do way better than he is polling something good must be about to happen

I wonder if their internal polls are showing that Paul is likely to do much better than they thought.
They went into ultra attack mode with Howard Dean, remember?
Winning in Iowa was the beginning of the end for him.
So, let's be prepared.
