Ok, in simple terms - why is McCain bad?

McCain is not bad

I don't know why you want to label people as bad. McCain has served his country, and worked as a civil servant. He is just different than Dr. Paul.

I think it is simple. We have enough problems at home to worry about without worrying about what is going on in the neighbors yard.

What is Americas murder rate?
Why are we searched before we get on planes?
Why are there cameras on every corner?
Why are we spying on Americans?
Why isn't there an exceptional affordable National College Education System?
Why are our taxes so high?
Why is there such a decline in small businesses?
Where is the majority of your tax dollar spent?
How much tax income is generated by the sale of illegal drugs in the United States?
How much do you pay to fund the search for illegal drugs, and to prosecute, and imprison drug offenders?
How can a city lose population and still find a need to increase the tax budget? see Milwaukee, WI. I voted with my feet, moved.

I doesnt matter when it happened, the fact that it did happen by an elected official at any time in their career is appalling.

For that reason alone I will never vote for John McCain because what he did was the ultimate betrayal of the obligations of public service.

John McCain was the primary opposition to the Senate Select Committee on POWs. He bitterly opposed any attempt to rescue any other POWs.
This is very strange since John McCain was himself, a POW.
The POWs that might have been rescued, would have been able to give testimony about the 32 propaganda tapes that John McCain made for the communists, while in Viet Nam.
The 32 propaganda tapes are still "classified" so that no one can see them.

I have a feeling that McCain is so pissed about having been a POW that he wants as many people to experience what he experienced. That is why he is so pro-war and why he didn't want to rescue the other POWs in Vietnam.

He wants others to suffer as much as he thinks he has suffered.

If I were talking to a fairly uneducated voter who thought they might want to support McCain, what would you say to dissuade him from voting for McCain? (I'm not sure if this is the correct forum to ask this, but none of the others really applied either)

He wants to secure the borders of Iraq and abandon the borders of the US - and have your kids and grandkids pay for it.
