20+ million is really not that much money for a National Campaign - we don't have to $$ right now to run a national campaign - this can't be about personal egos - we have to come together and elect Ron Paul - we need the money bombs - we plann using the money bombs

We all knew this but thanks. :)

edit: Not you UK, the first poster.

You're right. Several people posted today that we don't need any more donation "bombs" but I disagree- I think that we should go all out now.
Good point.

Yea agreed we all kinda know this.. problem is many people won doante to they see more momentum. Before votes where cast we had alot to point towards as evidence of doing well, but these states results dont back up that claim so sadly we are not gaining as much support as we could be.

GrassRoots? Blimp? Chipin? Private Efforts? GOTV? 4th Place with little campaign involvement? USAToday ads from individuals? Is this a Ron Paul Revolution campaign, or a Ron Paul Campaign Campaign?

How are they going to have the money they need for Feb 5th if we wait to donate on the 21st? We should just donate now, and do it hard so they can spend that money on adverts today, not afterwards. I'm donating this week on payday, I hope more of you do the same.

We just have to make the MLK money bomb as big as possible. I worry a little because it was designed as a "donor" bomb rather than a money bomb (ie, $10 spread over a lot more people than the previous large $100 money bombs were).

Still, I'm hoping to have at least a medium money bomb. I've even got my wife to pitch in on MLK day (thanks again Fixed News! She said it wasn't fair to not include Ron, so she's donating on the money bomb even though RP is her second choice - I know I'm working on her :) ).

How do all the other campaigns do it?

free media, establishment support, special interests, GOP favors for favors...cfr membership or affiliiation...

Yes 20 mill sounds like a lot, but is NOTHING when even running a barebones campaign. I have seen plenty of criticism of the RP staff for cutting corners, but I really don't think people have an idea of how expenses add up. I have run a small business and the public is oblivious to the overhead!

I plan on making a sizeable donation on MLK Day and encourage all of you to do the same!

Martin Luther King Day = 21st January. Money Bomb It!

.

The problem with the MLK money bomb is they were only asking for $10. That was a bad idea.

We need to have three or four money bombs. two before Febuary 5th and one after.

Here is the problem. We need to win a state or get second or third in a few states. We absolutely have to prove that Ron Paul is electable. How do we do that. We have to canvas our precincts, phone bank our precincts, go to colleges, highschools and appeal to younger voters, go to senior communities and appeal to elderly voters, provide transportation to people who will have trouble making it to the polls, and call people atleast twice the day of who said they are going to vote for Ron Paul.

I'm with you.

Your wife isnt voting for Paul!!!! Come on man, show her some propaganda videos or something... lol That's what I did to mine!

If people are still saying that Paul is unelectable then they must also think that Guiliani and Thompson are unelectable. Cause Paul has finished in better placing than these two candidates in two states!

This money bomb. sadly, is gonna bomb. Too many people are discouraged by the results, myself included. I will still donate though.

Ron Paul needs the money dammit, and we're going to give it to him.

Give it to the Doctor or give it to the next US government...

This is about the future people. donate em if you got em. They won't be worth much in two years if Ron Paul is not the next President of the US.
