I'll be happy when I see Giuliani's numbers a lot lower, like say zero? Of all the scum, he's the slimiest

I wish there were proof.

Proof? The proof is blatantly obvious in the results of their actions. Deleting pro-Paul comments. Continually disparaging his support on the internet. Repeatedly calling Paul a "fringe" candidate.

I don't doubt for a second that this is valid. Granted, I would like to see some sort of proof before I dive into this, but I agree with the consensus that CNN's actions were obvious. They deliberately left Ron Paul out of their post-debate analysis, and they cannot hide what they are doing for much longer. Deleting the message boards? I wrote to my local papers about this, and I hope they publish my editorial. They already contacted me and there is a chance this will happen.

Think about this: If Mitt Romney was getting 70% on their online polls, do you think they would doubt those polls for a second? NO - they would broadcast the news of this immediately on the air, and declare a victory for Mitt. But if it's Ron Paul? Oh, well it must be a small group of spammers...

Let's keep some perspective. This was a private debate broadcast by a private company. Only governments have fascist dicators. CNN is not a government. We're fighting for the right of private individuals and businesses to conduct their affairs WITHOUT government interference. Sometimes that means those private organizations will do stuff we disagree with. Freedom means that people are sometimes going to do things that will piss you off.

And what is the first rule of a fascist dictatorship, Brandybuck? Control of the media! Did you know that all mainstream media (all newspapers, television, and radio) are controlled by 6 companies?

It's no mistake that CNN, MSNBC, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, NY Times, Washington Post, etc., all report the same things everyday. While true free enterprise outlets are immediately dismissed as crackpot pajama blogger sites.

I'm all for free market, but lets not pretend our mainstream media is interested in anything outside of staying "mainstream"

WHAT A CRAZY CONSPIRACY THEORY!!!

Nobody should be surprised. This is exactly what I expected. We are dealing with a large scale criminal organization.

This means Ron Paul IS gaining in popularity and they are scared.

I agree with Spatch67 - you see, the media has a DUTY to report accurate news to the public, regardless of whether or not it's privately owned. Any major media company will CLAIM that they report fair and unbiased news, so to do otherwise would make them liars. They lobby for the trust of the public, and for the most part they have achieved this trust. If this story were true, and CNN was exposed for what they are truly doing, this will be BIG. People everywhere will hear about this, Wolf Blitzer and Larry King will lose BIG credibility as well as CNN as a whole.

One of two things could happen - the other mainstream media companies will use this to say "Look at CNN - we would never do this, watch us instead of them!" And they could potentially grab market share as a result - FOX news, if anything, may be a program that would like this story. They could maybe claim it's a "liberal media" thing.

Or, they will cover this up in fear of an attack on all MSM companies...because let's be honest none of them can really be trusted.

QfT.

Its temping to see a problem and go "omg someone should do something!!1". But government intervention into the media is not likely to be any better. The market, especially one so limited by the finite number of television channels, isn't perfect. But, government intervention is likely going to be worse...

I wonder if his highness, the president, will declare this a National Emergency and invoke his executive powers?! Don't be surprised. Seriously.

I take this as encouraging. What did ya think we are up against?

It just shows they are making concerted efforts to stop Ron Paul..and they can't.

I take the lightning strike on Rudy's mike when he was speaking on abortion as a sign. :)

We just need to keep working hard, that's all we need to worry about. There are higher powers involved than the MSM.

Is anyone really surprised by this, really? If anything, this should be our rallying cry. If they won't be responsible to the public discourse, then we will. I've got art skillz (specifically drawing) which can be used for this purpose. Let's fight back, damn it.

Analysis Shows Debate Was Rigged

A cursory analysis of last night's Republican presidential candidate's debate on CNN manifestly proves that, as in the case of the previous debates, the corporate media rigged the event in favor of establishment candidates while blacklisting underdogs like Ron Paul.

"I think we're a powerful dark horse and I think we're knocking right on the door and I think we've got some of the "top tier" candidates pretty nervous," Ron Paul's communications director Jesse Benton said today during an appearance on the Alex Jones Show.

Benton had one of his assistants calculate the figures, concluding that Ron Paul was asked eight questions and spoke for a total of 6-and-a-half minutes.

I love the idea of RP producing a series of videos, each on a given topic or issue. I also love the idea of online townhalls and even debates. Why let MSM and the GOP dictate how campaigns are run in the 21st Century? Let's innovate and get way out in front of them.

I've temporarily removed your post voteronpaul08

I don't think it's a good idea to post their information here.

I wouldn't bother going after anyone. There are going to be more breadcrumbs. Read the log - people are uncomfortable about the censorship.
