Wow. All this ballot drama makes me wonder how the other campaigns get it done without the amount of volunteers that RP has. Must cost them a fortune to pay someone to do it. On the other had it's a bit concerning. Does the campaign just assume the grassroot supporters are doing this and don't bother to make sure it's being done?

I assure everyone it is now under control and if we just keep doing what we are doing now, we will be in good shape. Lots of hard work by lots of people ( work until 3am, 4am, 5am...) to get the situation under control in a matter of days. Abolutely amazing.

ohio is designed to be hard to get on the ballot to keep out non establishment candidates. you either have to have lots of money, or a good grassroots network.

The meetup site only had 1 person signed up to canvass on Wednesday when I checked today. It kinda freaked me out.. I see signs up around town though.

People!! Look up Ohio zip codes and contact all Ohio and nearby meetup groups using the ohio meetup google map!!! VERY IMPORTANT!!

On that zip code voter finder. If they don't have a D or R next to there name, is it ok to get their signature. There are people without either that consider themselves to be part of a party but it does not show them to be part of a party on the list. I am scared to have them sign, fearing this could lead to bad signatures. Does anyone know?

I'm going to go to myspace and search 'Ron Paul Ohio' and email everyone I can find that supports Dr. Paul and lives in Ohio.

Why more people don't use myspace is beyond me.

I'll be collecting sigs in Ohio here soon (Erie County). If everything about collecting them wasn't so complicated, I would have been out doing it when I first heard the news. I work 50+ hours a week this time of year, and my only day off is Christmas!

I think we have this under control, but there is no reason for anyone here in Ohio to not be out collecting a surplus.
