This may turn out to be the most Losertarian moment in Losertarian history to date.
Getting a good vibe from all this. I just want to see Ken win so Obama and the Dems will have egg on their faces. Would also be an early indication that people are starting to see their premiums spike up, and they are PISSED.
McAuliffe is pretty loathsome too, even by Democrat standards. Many people don't know he tried to bribe Ralph Nader to drop out of the Presidential election in 2004, and then filed multiple lawsuits trying to kick him off the ballot. Whatever one thinks of Nader, that's pretty anti-democratic for a (D).
He's in trouble. Not enough votes left in those counties. He will lose by the margin of error though.
It's probably not going to end up making a difference. McAuliffe may pull a straight-out majority, so no addition of Libertarian voters would have helped the GOP here.
Libertarian Party = the big-government Democrats' best friends.
im predicting cooch wins by 1-2%
Sarvis is actually doing about twice as well as I expected. Probably because he's not actually particular libertarian lol.
Do you really think McAuliffe could make up another whole 5% or more? I'm honestly curious, not confrontational, because I don't know a whole lot about VA demographics and politics.
Ron Paul ran as a Libertarian in 1988 and he is no friend of Democrats! This is one election where the Libertarian guy isn't really Libertarian and with Ron Paul endorsing Ken, that it is OK to go for the Republican over the Libertarian here. That doesn't mean the next election that people shouldn't vote for a Libertarian, just this one.
