The movie definitely makes its assertions... but I wouldn't call it propaganda. It's laid out like the Carl Sagan, Cosmos series only on 10x more topics. It definitely raises alot of important questions and as far as I could tell, was actually pretty libertarian in many ways. Hints & themes of anti-authoritarianism, free-market, hands off type approach. Regardless of who financially backed this, I don't know how you can spin the positive message it puts forth.
I do think certain people they interview are questionable in their credibility (Icke, Stephen Greer, etc), but I'm not looking to "take down" the overall messages/questions of the movie because of specific people they chose to interview.
Same here. I disagree with Bill Still's solution to monetary policy, but he did not offer his solution in the film. Bill is credible because he understands the problem. In my opinion, everyone should be allowed to receive payment in whatever form they wish. So I watched "THRIVE" intently to see if the solution they were offering was akin to what Ellen Brown or Bill Still advocate. To my delight, I didn't see any reference in the movie to giving anyone a monopoly on the money supply. That is the key to thriving. Just like our ancestors had when the world was thriving... separation of money and state using honest sound money will liberate.
The message of "THRIVE" is one that has been hidden for so long that many people cannot yet see it. Most people see a life of labor, debt, fear and scarcity. It is not true. The world is full of abundance. Life is about enjoying your existence. Liberty is about allowing the opportunity for each of us to approach our lives in peace and prosperity.
Take just one simple change for example, legalize industrial hemp. It is God's gift to humanity, but it is not allowed by the counterfeiters in charge because it competes with their petroleum based economy. While hemp fuel doesn't solve the energy crisis alone, it helps, and it burns clean, is renewable, and is inexpensive to produce. Clothing made from hemp is more durable than cotton. Panels made from hemp are stronger and lighter than steel. Concrete mixed with hemp insulates and reinforces. Plastic made from hemp is compostable. Hemp grows without the need for fertilizer, insecticides, or pesticides. The plant's roots effectively prevent soil erosion and replenish the soil as they decompose. The list of hemp benefits goes on and on.
"THRIVE" talked about free energy. Yes, we do have free energy. The sun, wind, thermal, and plenty more examples which have taken a back seat to the power elite oligarchy's oil based world of wars, power, and control. "THRIVE" exposes the elite. It's an excellent film.
