Official Super Tuesday results thread

Didn't Virginia have theirs later in the season last time? I remember it was a big deal because only Ron and Mitt were on the ballot, with Newt and Santorum still in the race. This time, I think there are 9 or 10 on there.

Trump and Rubot are in a dead heat in Virginia according to exit polls.

This will be a real test for Trump. Will he be able to overcome the very establishment NOVA?

I saw that and was thinking the heart of the establishment and military industrial complex helping Rubio there.

Trump, Clinton win handily in Georgia

Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton swept to victory Tuesday in Georgia’s primaries, in a show of strength over rivals who are competing to stave off their nominations.

Trump is set to get the bulk of the 76 delegates up for grabs in Georgia, the second-biggest trove of the sweep of states that are holding primaries or caucuses on Tuesday. The closer race is the GOP contest for second place that pits Florida U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio against Texas U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz.

Clinton’s victory in Georgia was another sign she has consolidated support of minority voters, a key constituency in the Democratic base. Black voters make up a majority of the party’s electorate in Georgia, and support from African-Americans helped power her rout of Vermont U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders in South Carolina on Saturday. She will likely take most of the 102 Democratic delegates at stake in Georgia.

Both Trump and Clinton had long held leads in the polls in Georgia, and the networks and The Associated Press called the race shortly after the polls closed.

The Peach State is at the center of a sweep of seven Southern states with votes Tuesday, though a range of other states from Alaska to Vermont are also holding primaries and caucuses.

Trump will probably drop out in the morning.

My thoughts too. He was expecting a sweep today and had already started his shift away from the anti-pc, first denouncing Duke then broadcasting that his immigration plan is negotiable. Can't believe it.

i didn't vote. family members did.
i sat this one out but was tempted.
the polls up here are now closed.
i will most likely vote this November.

65% of the VA precincts in and Trump leading the Rubot by 7%! He could actually DEFY the MIC!!!

Virginia is where all the Feds working in Washington live. Of course, Rubio should do well there.

i got this from the feed at the WSJ link up above! They have Trump romping & stomping in Mitt's back yard.

In Massachusetts, Mr. Sanders won among college graduates and people with some college education. But voters with postgraduate degrees swung for Mrs. Clinton.
(There weren't enough people with a high school education or less to measure in Massachusetts — a testament to the state's highly educated population.)

There's a bizarre age split in Massachusetts. Mrs. Clinton won among 30-44 year olds and among voters 65 and older. Mr. Sanders won among 18-29 year olds and 45-64 year olds. Basically: it's close among the middle aged groups, with older voters gravitating towards Mrs. Clinton and younger ones breaking for Mr. Sanders.

lmao, FOX spinning how this might be great news for Rubio tonight if he can come in second in Virginia; after not winning anything before and about to lose his home state of Florida... FOX is funny as hell. Are they retarded, or do they believe we are retarded?
