One other thing to point out. Amit is very young. He has a lot of time to establish himself in the district and make another run in a few more years. I have no doubt that he will one day, even if that day isn't today, win.
If Amit loses, his supporters are probably going to feel awful... I mean it's so close, you could probably get that many votes just by walking around the towns... but who knew =O
This would be a huge victory, for a candidate with no experience to run a 2 month campaign and win.
I'm very interested to see how Lawson does, and Singh if he wins this - both against incumbent Dems in November. We've always said that RP Republicans are the only ones who could beat a Dem in this election cycle, right?
