REAGAN DEMOCRATS. Not a shocker. Trump is a protectionist. I'm not saying that the race has been called yet, but it's not like the Reagan Democrats who were studied in great detail had so many protectionist choices over the years.

If you're a protectionist, a person who worked at a factory and now are unemployed, stories about politics that include returning high paying factory jobs to Michigan are going to be appealing.

The problem is this:

Under Bush, so called conservatives rolled over as Bush expanded the government and eroded civil liberties.

It wasnt until Obama got into office that people started objecting to more debt, indefinite detentions, citizen kill lists, warrant-less spying etc.

My concern/fear is that the same thing is going to happen all over again.

The Right is going to be fine with whatever Emperor Trump wants to do regardless of how egregious its going to be.
